  1. I've been having the same issue. Before yesterday I hadn't ever tried creating a KML and using it to generate a PQ. It seems to work OK for generating the PQ, but I get an error when I either try to delete or modify the route. (Haven't tried to modify the PQ though.) Having never before experimented with KML files, I originally thought that I was just messing something up by trying to use a KML file to generate the route, but if others are also having issues I feel sort of better.
  2. GSAK uses the exact same method to match the "found by me" as is does for your placed by caches. GPX files don't actually contain the "date found by me" per se. GSAK gets this information by interrogating all the logs, looking for a found log that matches you. What is happening in your case is that you have not identified yourself to GSAK correctly for this matching. (this would also mean that GSAK is not recognizing your placed by caches either) You set how GSAK matches you via Tools=>Options, then correctly filling out the "Method for matching placed caches". Click on the help button when you open this dialog (the screen shown in the help file has hot links), or see this topic online here for more information. Thanks Clyde. I had entered our GC.com ID (Mac and LaLa) on the line and had the "Use gc.com logon ID" radio button pushed. It seems to be working great now that I've changed it to the "Exact Match" setting. One other quick question, will it look in all the logs for my ID or only so many logs back (the 5 or 6 it seems that are sent in the GPX file from GC.com)? I haven’t had any problems with it NOT picking up any of my finds, but I was just curious. As with everyone else, the more and more I use GSAK, the more I appreciate the hard work you've put into it. THANK YOU!!!
  3. I was looking to get a quick explanation of how you (the users), load your new GPX pocket queries into GSAK. The problem I’m having it that the when I open a new GPX file it does not import the “found by me” date. It does show that I have found it (correctly color-coded), but the date column is always blank. My current work-around is to manually input the date, and check the “Lock” option. (Which “Stops GPX/LOC load overriding data”.) This keeps my “Found by me” date fixed, but the problem is that the rest of the information for that cache is never updated from that day forward. So if any one could, please describe their technique/settings that will allow the “Found by me” data to remain static, while the rest is dynamic. Thanks in advance.
