  1. I thought that Eartcaches were no longer being approved. Has there been a change in policy? 50sumtin
  2. I carry extra supplies such as log sheets, pens and pencils, pencil sharpeners, and baggies and spruce up a cache that might need minor maintenance. I've replaced missing cache containers after reading previous logs and felt I had a fairly good idea what the container would have been and where the cache had been hidden. I've performed cache maintenance and cache replacements at the request of cache owners. My question is this: is there a procedure for dealing with caches that are still present but the owners no longer geocache? 50sumtin
  3. Hi! I would like to propose what I believe to be a new category: Remote Control (RC) Sites. These waymarks will be for sites where organized remote control (rc) hobbyists play with their remote-control gadgets: airplanes, helicopters, race cars, boats, you name it. For an example, please go to the following website for the Santa Cruz RC Bees and their Flying Field: http://zzyx.ucsc.edu/rcbees/ Bud 50sumtin
  4. I hope to have others join my Blue Plaques group. http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/default...0a-da0843197178 I hope that I am doing this correctly. Comments and suggestions are welcome. 50sumtin
  5. Hi! As Touchstone wrote, I'm hoping to submit a cache description very soon for an official geoevent for a hike on March 25 in the Pinnacles. The latest thought is to hike in from the EAST side. We plan to hike a loop that catches the virtual and the earthcaches there. There is a private campground on the east side as well. I am not aware of any camping on the Soledad side, but I may be wrong. Please feel free to contact me for more information. 50sumtin P.S. There is also a geocachers picnic planned for April 2 in Santa Cruz as well that you are welcome to if you are interested. GCQ7ZT: Santa Cruz Spring Forward Get Together
  6. I have 2 needs: Where to get activation code for Pennsylvania geocoin? Where is the website for Indiana geocoins? 50sumtin
  7. I'm willing to open this up to something more global like Historical Site Plaques.
  8. I would like to propose a category for Things>Historic Things>Blue Plaques of Santa Cruz County. Here is link: http://www.santacruzmah.org/history_award.html Thank you! 50sumtin
