  2. In that case you will need to contact the owner of the coin & have them send you an adoption request for the coin.
  3. Go to the coins page, click found it log it... select grab it from current holder. It will then be in your inventory. Then go and drop it in the cache you left it in.
  4. Wow, great post. Thats probably the most info ive gotten about coins.
  5. Ahh... Mileage gets all the glory.... No love for cacher placements...
  6. Hi Tha Saint! Just wanted to let you know that I've posted a request in the SW Forum area that a cacher on the west side of San Diego please move the racing geocoins on to safer caches. I've just received an E-Mail from a cacher saying he's picked up my coin and will move it to a safer cache. Hopefully somebody will move your coin and the other one soon too. Good luck in the race! Thanks for the heads up, ill add a follow up to your post. My coin has been picked up and moved to a new cache a bit north.

  8. I am an owner of 1 of the other racing geocoins in that cache. I would also greatly appreciate it if someone could move my coin. It is a Road to Sacramento coin name Hippie Racing Bus #2.
  9. In 1883, the baseball glove was invented in Canada An unusual fact about Canada is its name origin, it comes from a St. Lawrence Iroquoian word, kanata, which means village or settlement. Canada shares the world's longest common border with the United States of America, which is also the only unprotected border in the world. A funny fact about Canada's city of Montreal, sometimes called The City of Churches, is that it has more churches than houses
  10. Noticed that a couple of racers (including 1 of mine) were dropped off at a cache in Southern Cali yesterday. I hope they will be safe, as the cache has some recent logs stating that tb's that are listed in the cache are not there, also that the lock that's supposed to be on the cache is gone & a maintenance request.. Even the guy who dropped off the racers logged "Left three racing TB's/Coins. Come get them before they are lost." Cache owner hasnt logged into GC since 2007. Doesnt sound good. TB Flight 1214

  14. Just use Gimp. Its free and it does pretty much everything Photoshop does. Aside from that, imo, watermarking is pointless unless you run the watermark across the actual picture/coin. If you put it in a corner or something it takes about 5 seconds for someone to color right over it.
  15. Thanks for taking the time to put this together Shilo... and Good Luck to everyone in the race.
