While not only geocoins, there is an activity called "Geocoin Collectors Anonymous" at this years "Geowoodstock" in Dallas (http://www.geowoodstock4.com/). Perhaps that is a start of a geocoin convention. If enough collectors find the activity valuable.. the momentum could build!
