Now that i am back in my home state of FL, i would be interested in this group as well in what ever capacity.

I would like to adopt presidental birthplaces, as i have the most invested in this category.

The potential problem is going to be bandwidth and server usage. That is what drove the death of LC's and if they WM keeps going, the issue will grow expotentially. The 'proof' issue is junk unless people are going to treat it like GC. Proof for NPS can be the stamp in the passport...

I find that these topics provide a catharsis for the community and as others have pointed out, allows the parameters to be worked out. This happens by majority rule and normally is a respectful endeavor. Hopefully these continue to be a dignified way to resolve differences....

35.00 for a one ounce silver coin??? Are we really losing it? Even the best graphic designed collectable doesnt go for that much, and yes i know it comes with shipping, but not insurance. Caveat Emptor, time to look elseware....

What about those of us who already paid for the LE, going to issue a refund or what?

I followed AG's lead and bought the LE, but i am waiting for a reply on the shipping costs on the bronze. This was a great place to visit and the timepieces on display are really cool! The number of people getting pictures stradling the line was funny!

I would think that mosty of the people who are collecting would do the same. This group is pretty good. I'm thrilled by the sending of all the coins back, as the cost deference of a coin would have been a great return. I am even impressed that BBF ended up brokering a seperate deal for a trade to equal out the balance. Bravo to all!

I posted at CT, but had to modify it after i came back here and read the rest of the forum. 6.50 for a 1" seems high, even including postage.....

I think it is a great idea! I might want it in my back yard to make the iffy ones think twice....but we are supposed to be a self-regulated group. The travel bug idea is really cool, and something i will have ready to go by GWIV. The coin logging cache idea i'll have to work on after i relocate to FL.

And most of them are NPS areas. We have them in WM and there are a few virtuals still out there on the majority of the locations, and yes those are part of geocaching!!!!

Just take your family on a cruise. At least you will enjoy the food choices....

It is a valid question and maybe a it needs to be brought out in the open. I for one would not want to support a hobby that was fueling a really bad situation. But if the market forces are having an impact and the workers get to make a living, than that would be a good thing. Those with the knowledge, please infor the rest of us!!!!
