Thanks as well to the Admins for their support. No coins out here in California today... emailed him again asking for an update.

Nada on the west coast but I am doing my utmost best to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow nine days from last Friday before I start filing complaints and asking for a full refund. Unfortunately I am owed a trade as well so I'll lose out on that deal as well. East coast people should have received theirs by now so I am getting increasingly concerned now. My big problem is I'll have to deal with 30 unhappy coin club members. How about an update for everyone Ross? Did the coins really go out?

How about dropping the state outline and replacing the coords on each side with "California"?

I'm in the KISS camp: I think Mt. Whitney can stand alone... I'd remove the CA state outline completely and go with a high relief Mt. Whitney. Maybe spell out California across the bottom of the Whitney side in the empty space On the obverse side: badwater sign with a minimal amount of extras -- none or less mules, no vultures. I like the ammo can hidden at the base of the sign though.

I was told by the man himself that my 60 or so coins that I paid for back in November shipped Friday the 17th of March. I'll post back in a few days with an update. The 45 day rule that paypal has is unfortunate... I wasn't aware of that one until tonight.

I received an Oregon 2004 in the mail today.... nothing special except for the fact that it was postmarked December 2nd 2005! Took a full 3 1/2 months to arrive. The envelope was stamped with "Found in supposedly empty equipment" in red ink. So give your fellow cacher a break when they assure you that they did indeed send the coin

I love the highpoint/lowpoint theme. I personally like geocoins that look like coins. Coins have no color so no color is good for me. I'd love to see Mt. Whitney be the focal point of one side of the coin. Remove the quails, the poppies, the state outline, the tree and the bear. For the backside find a cool image from badwater... not sure how to convey the lowpoint but you could incorporate the signpost somehow. I'll see if I can dig up a good pic. When they're ready let me know and I'll put together a large order from the GBA as well. Thanks for putting this one together and taking everyone's inputs!

Aren't you in Texas? Did you consult with any RI cachers before producing a coin for them?

My batch arrived today. They turned out really nice. Kudos to cornerstone4 and coins and pins! I'll be setting all of mine free so that Bikedog's memory lives on in caches around the world, hopefully a lot of others do the same. I hope the family is doing well. I have some GBA coin club microchip coins, GBA faultines and DNF coins to trade. Looking for: Oklahoma Mississippi Arkansas(I'll send mine now) Any other recent states other than Illinois that I don't have.

Are Californians invited to help design the coins as was done in the past?

We weren't so lucky. One mailer of 10 coins arrived empty today with a nice tear in the end. Of the other six packages about three more were starting to tear. I honestly cannot believe that the geocoin club is shipping out lots of 10 coins in a single #000 with the coins unsecured and just sloshing around.
