Ok, I have 2 questions. One: where can I find the case pictued above in the 3rd reply? And for the 4th reply is that just a case to hold it in or can you operate the gps while it is in the case?

I just bought a Magellan Meridian Color and am wondering if like the Garmin you can download information about a chache directly into the gps. Also what is direct route, does it come with the gps? My final question is that do you have to buy all of the maps that you can put on the gps or are some free from a website? I would really appriciate all the help anyone can give.

I just bought a Magellan meridian color, and although it has not reached my house yet, baised on what you guys have said here I am confident I made the right choice and will let ya'll know how I like it.
