  1. If you wish to buy this coin: I am going to start to take pre-orders and pre-payments for this coin. I can send you an invoice or you can order them through CoinTracking at the following link: COINTRACKING ORDERING The coin tracking site will be set up for US orders only. If you are not within the US you can still use the site. I will cancel you order and send you a new invoice with the correct amount. At this time these are being sold as a set only and the backs on each coin is different. Later I may be selling individual coins. The price is $33 US, $34 Canada, and $37 all others. This price includes all shipping and Handling charges (paypal fees) To prepay/preorder I need the following information. 1) Geo Nickname: (real names confuse me a am better with Nicknames) 2) Location (US, Canada, Other) to calculate shipping charges. 3) Number of sets desired. 4) Trade of purchase 5) PayPal email address for invoicing (for those purchasing only) Let me know if you want to prepay or wait till I have them in hand (coins expected before 10-6) You do not need to prepay for the coins before I have them in hand. Prepaying only guarantees that you will be getting your coins before those that have not prepaid. If you wish to trade for this coin: I have decided to do a 3 for 3 trade for this coin even though the set is really made up of 6 coins (3 regular and 3 micros). That being said I will not however be a little more selective on what I trade for. Also I generally do not trade for more than 2 of any personal or event coins since I generally keep only one of any coin type in mine and my dad’s colletions. I will be making exceptions when necessary with the understanding that I will trade away the extra coin. Thanks Team Sand Dollar
  2. Proof coins are in and I expect to have the final coins in hand before the Oct-6 CoinFest.
  3. Again not in the mailbox but I did pick up the proof coins for the Legend of the Sand Dollar coins. Will be posting pictures and details tonight. I am expecting delivery by Oct 1. Just in time for the CoinFest on the 6th. Team Sand Dollar
  4. I received a Pacific Sand Dollar with one of my trades this week. I think I have my design for next years Team Sand Dollar coin. Team Sand Dollar
  5. I do plan on doing a little trading in the near future................. It is best to set up the trades you want early so you will get the coins you want. If not these owners may trade with someone that has purchased you coin and may no longer need your coin when you are ready to trade. Team Sand Dollar
  6. Might be good to list who you are waiting on in case one of our emails got lost. Team Sand Dollar

  9. Looking for a GEO Top40 501 Gang. This is the only one I am missing to complete my dads (Buffalo Wings) set of these coins. Team Sand Dollar
  10. Just wondering how much interest there would be in single coins? Also if you are interested in a single coin which would it be? Keep in mind that there are three different coin back and each back is presently being done in one finish. I probably will sell/trade them individually after the initial batch and then order additional coins to keep my stock even. This would result in each of the coins being minted in different amounts but that really doesn't matter. Team Sand Dollar
  11. Save a couple to trade with me. If I don't have something you want now I am sure to have something soon. And I can't even see the picture but I know it will be great. Team Sand Dollar
  12. Magnet is just there to hold the sand dollar in place. Got to have some way to hold it together. Team Sand Dollar
  13. These coins are a set because the backs are different on all 3 coins and it takes all 3 coins to complete the story. All 3 coins will be minted in the same quantity so one will not be rarer that the others. So with this set you are not having to buy the set to get the LE you are buying the set to get the 3 different coins. IF I did break them up I would have to randomly distribute them to keep the coins in my stock even so I would not be minting these in uneaven numbers. Team Sand Dollar
  14. There is (at this time*) still only one set type being made. The base coins will be Antigue and and the Sand Dollar Shiny. Each of the 3 coins will have a different finish (Gold for the first, Silver for the second. and Copper for the third). I'm not sure what they mean by sandblasted but I will be getting proff coins before I commit to the final order. *leaving all options open.
  15. Me too! This one has taken a lot longer to get just right. But we are back to a 3.5mm thick coin with a Bronze base. Now I have some questions for the masses. My plan was to sell/trade these only as a set. Is this a problem? If I were to break up sets I would have to randomly send the coins in order to not be stuck with a bunch of one of them. What is a fair trade for these coins? Since each set is made up of 6 coins would a trade of 4 coins for the set be fair. Should it be 3 for the set? Team Sand Dolllar
  16. Here is the latest artwork. Time to go forward with the proofs.
  17. My Legend of the Sand Dollar coins will be a christian themed coin. Just got the final art work and will be going forward with the proof coins next week. Team Sand Dollar

  19. I would suggest you make enough extra coins so collectors will be able to get the coins they want and hopefully keep the ones you placed out there traveling. There is nothing wrong with selling some of your coins and in the process making a little profit to cover the tracking numbers and even offsetting the cost of the ones you release. Team Sand Dollar
  20. Each coin in the set is made up of a 1.5base coin Legend of the Sand Dollar and a matching 1" Sand Dollar coin. My note was I to state that I planning to have additional smaller coins made to use for trading and SWAG. Team Sand Dollar
  21. I start by taking a preorder on my coins to get a feel for how many are desired ,plus this allows me to put a more realistic price on the coin by spreading the base cost against the projected total number of coins. I generally have enough money to cover the initial 300 coins but if there is a greater demand I may do a prepay to allow me to cover the cost of the additional coins. This was the case of my 2006 and 2007 coins as I had buyers wanting 20+ coins each and it really cut into my stock. Then again I usually try and not collect any money until I at least have the proof coins in hand or better yet the coins are scheduled to arrive within a couple of days. IF someone doesn't want to prepay before I have the coins in hand I just move them to the wait list and process them in the order received after taking care of all the preorders and trades. Then again I do not limit my coins so all orders will be filled. Just some will take longer thatn others. I myself do not mind a prepay as long as the coins can be expected to ship within a month. Tying up funds for more than this amount of time should be avoided but as we know sometimes there are problems and coins get delayed. Team Sand Dollar
  22. Here is the info from the mint on size. Small Sand Dollar: 25mm x 2.0mm thickness Stamped Iron 100 gold, 100 silver, 100 copper 3D/2D - 5 cutouts Lower Legend Coin: 1.5" x 3.5m thickness Stamped Bronze 100 antique gold, 100 antique silver, 100 antique copper 1 front die, 3 back dies, reuse edge die Edge engraving 5.0mm magnet fixed flush in a machined hole The Sand Dollar will sit down into the Legend coin 0.4mm - that is maximum depth for stamping in bronze. --------------- The initial order will be for 100 set but I will not be limiting the production to any number of sets. This may include additional special finishes or extra small coins. --------------- My estimated price on the sets is now $33 US, $34 Canada, $38 all others including shipping. The actual price is still subject to the actual shipping cost which will be based on the weight of the coin set. Team Sand Dollar
  23. Time for an update on this one. Still working with the mint and am expecting new artwork soon. Will post the new artwork when I get it. Looks like I will be able to get the base coin back down to 3.5mm and with a bronze base. Also replaced the one big dove with 5 smaller dove that go around the magnet. Waiting on final quote from the mint to resolve final price on this one but it will also be effected by the number of preorders. Team Sand Dollar
  24. The trackable coin is a DarrylW4 & Firefly03 2007 geocoin. There were 4 coins in this series each with different pictures of thier cat Pepper. Team Sand Dollar
  25. Puzzle really wasn't that hard and was much easier than his earlier one that added a twist. The puzzle just eliminates around 99% of the cachers around here from even trying it. Problem is even if you can break the puzzle you really don't have much of a chance of finding it. Team Sand Dollar
