Still waiting to hear from many, if the coins you received are correct. The correct order is: gold-"there's a pretty legend,....... silver-"on one side the easter lily..... copper-"now break the center open.... If you got both the Gold and Silver coins crossed, you ended up with a rare set as I only know of 2 silver coins with part 1. If you got 2 part ones I can exchange the Gold coin with the correct verse. If you got 2 part ones it is your choice on which to exchange to get a common set or a rare set. I need this info so I can go back to the mint for corrected coin to fill out the sets. ----------------------------- Additionally since I will need to get additional 50 tracking numbers, to correct the problems, I will be having a few additional sets (~15) made. It not so much that the hide was not good enough. Back in the old days we were requested not to use pages for temporary caches but to log them on the event page. This worked great when there were only a couple of temporary event caches at an event but now it is being abused. Team Sand Dollar

NOTICE!!!! Please check your coins for the correct story. Turns out that even though each coin had a different part number the mint somehow made some part 1 coins in Silver and some part 2 coins in Gold. I don't know if any of the 3rd part got mixed up. I will correct the problem but would like anyone who didn't get all the story to arrange to return either one of the duplicated parts so I can maintain complete stories. This will allow you to have an original set with the 1st being gold, the 2nd being silver, and the 3rd being copper or an alternate rare set with the 1st being silver, the 2nd gold, and the 3rd copper. This practice of multiple logs at an event has been going on for a long time as can bee seen by an earlier thread with input from Jeremy. What are guidelines for Events?? The practice came about because GC.Com didn't want to go through all the effort for creating cache pages for caches that were just going to be archive within a couple of days. So extra finds were just logged against the event page. For myself, early on I found temp event caches acceptable since the ones I had done were not easy grab with one requiring a 1 mile walk each way. Latter I did an event with 17 really easy ones. Since then I stopped doing them, since they were just not fun any more. My find count does include these early ones since they were finds I had done with each having a log book. Team Sand Dollar

Coins arrived as promised and I will be getting all trades and preorders out in the mail tomorrow. At this time I am not taking any more requests for purchasing this coin until after the the coin fest on 10/6 and I see how many remaining sets I have. I have turned of the paypal function on my listing on CoinTracking since I want to keep the remaining sets available for the CoinFest on 10/6. I am expecting the coins 10/1 and will be sending invoices to those that have requested the coins but have not already pre-payed. Any new request will be added to a wait list. Team Sand Dollar

I feel that any coin type that was sold by the owner or any of the stores should be fair to be resold. This includes coins you may have traded for. The exception to this may be special finishes that the owner had made for giving away and trade only. Coins that were never sold and only given away or available for trade shouldn't be sold. That is the simple answer. Of course there is no way to enforce what someone does with a coin once it is in their possession. Team Sand Dollar

I would like to put together a wait list for this coin for those that want the coin but want to wait till I have them in hand before being invoiced. To be assured that I have enough of these available for the GeoCoinFest in Michigan I am going to limit the number of these that I Trade/Sell from the 100 sets in the first batch to 75 sets. This will leave me 25 set for the event. I do plan on having more made but will probably wait until after the event. Team Sand Dollar

The coins will NOT be numbered. The base coin will have the tracking number on the side. The mini sand dollar will not be engraved at all. Having a iron base (so it will stick to the magnet) make it susceptible to corrosion at the engraving point. The mini coin is 2 sided, and similar to the back of my TSD V2 only dated 2007.
