  1. Hi All When we had the "old" maps to check out the Geocaches in an area, we were able to number them and have their names on a list, this was very useful when planning to do a specific area. The "new" map doesn't seem to have the functionality to have a list of number and/or name of the individual caches. Or maybe it is there somewhere & I've not located it. Thanks ROMA123
  2. Thanks for this Tute PilotSnipes, I've referred back to it a number of times, but finally getting there. The biggest thing for me was to stop the "dinging" when I wasn't caching, so solved this by putting in a Datacard, save waypoints to card and only insert when I need it. Your tute is so well explained, and the pics help make something's just that bit clearer. Thanks for all your effort.
  3. It is frustrating, sometimes they are just not logged. I will go out of my way, and at times go back to a cache for an interesting coin, or if going away a TB, I've recently collected a few for my impending trip and have found a few caches without the TB/Coins in them. I believe it is up to the cache owner or the TB/Coin owner to ammend the log, however this can take a while. I will always make a note in the log if the TB/Coin is not in there, to avoid disappointment for someone searching for it after me.
  4. I found this too with a lot of the pages I was printing off, I resolved it quite accidently, by creating a pdf of the page. Initially I did it to save to a data stick and print off, however, I've found that it keeps all the details : with the exception of the google map before the Logs, which is ok, as I print off a Google Map with all the caches in the area. Free pdf creaters are on the downloads.com site.
  5. Thanks everyone for your responses. Next time I will go and get the TB !!!
  6. I'm just wondering whether I should revisit a cache to recover a Geo Coin or Travel Bug from the cache ?? Is it once done, thats it? or its ok to revisit? Thanks
