  1. No problem, but I did say it was in California. And it is found EVERYWHERE in the burn areas of California. Thanks for putting it in the right forum.
  2. Ok here in So. California in the recently opened burn area we have what is called the poodle bush. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turricula_(plant) It is everywhere. And it is in the way of a few caches. I didnt know what it was and so here I am to say STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!!!! It is alot like poison oak. You get a rash, swell up, itch, and are just miserable. I had some left on my boots and put them on a few days later and got it around my eyes. STAY AWAY!!!!!! It is on my legs, arms, stomach, and now my face!

  9. Well Im 40 now and havent hiked since I was in boy scouts. I am going on my first day hike with my wife this saturday up in Wrightwood. I was at my dads last night and he had as his desktop photo a pic of him and my brother up at San Jacinto peak. I asked him where the pic of me was. He said I never went to the peak. He said I hiked up there to a camp ground but we didnt do the peak. Well thats on the list to do in the next 5 years. I quit smoking 4 years ago gained a lot of weight and now its time to get serious for myself, my wife, and my little girls.

  12. Is the 60csx worth the extra $100? I will be using this for offroad driving and geocaching. I am leaning towards the vista just for price reasons. They seem to do the same things. Thanks
