  1. Mine just updated to 3.60 on it's own.. Didn't need to use Express.. I guess it you have a wifi connection you're good to go? Joe
  2. Yes, the arrows do show up when driving.. Thanks for all the great info... Joe
  3. I will do the car test.. Your explanation makes a lot of sense.. I would still like the option to choose the arrows.. Maybe that will change some day.. Joe
  4. I called Garmin Tech Support today.. They could not change the setting either.. They did say they would pass it on up the line and possibly make a fix.. The weird thing is, like I said, sometimes the arrows shows up for a few seconds then reverts back to the letters.. Thanks, Joe
  5. I did.. there is no option for arrows.. Joe
  6. I don't want the letters.. I want the arrows.. Joe
  7. I just checked and mine stays in the direction mode whether I'm moving or not.. Joe
  8. I have a garmin 750t that I use mainly for geocaching. When I open the list of geocaches that are already downloaded on the right side of each cache I get an arrow that points in the direction of that particular cache. After a few seconds it changes to a compass direction, NE,SW etc. from my current location. Is there a setting for this? I kind of like the arrows. It makes it easy to decide which cache to go to next.. Thanks, Joe
  9. Looks like it is working now for me too after the update.. Joe
  10. Live Geocaching used to work with my Oregon 750 and my Galaxy S7 but hasn't for the last month or so.. I've contacted Garmin Tech Support twice and we tried everything they could think of.. It works when connected via wi-fi to my home computer but not via Bluetooth via my phone. Garmin Connect shows both devices are connected and synced. When I try to refresh a map page for geocaches a circle in the middle of the map appears and spins in a circle .. The Tech put me on hold while she looked into it.. Came back and said they were looking into the issue and would keep me informed via email. Joe
  11. Thanks.. I'm sure we are all encouraged to hear that.. Joe
  12. I just talked to Garmin.. We tried a few things after which the Agent (who was very helpful) Said it's a Geocaching.com issue. Joe
  13. I'm having the same problem as everyone else here.. I chatted with Tech Support last week and they had me try everything you can think of.. Restarts, reinstalls etc.. Still wont hand off caches from phone to device.. Emails come through so I know it's connected.. I'm going to contact them today and show them this thread.. Do you folks think it's a Garmin issue or a Geocaching.com issue? Joe
  14. why not just get a garmin nuvi for the car and get the macro posted on this forum?... it is easy to read and will take you right to the cache or the parking area for it...thats what iuse with my 60csx ...works great, Joe
  15. dwcarr1.. i am using the nuvi macro with my nuvi... i also have a maestro but am not sure how to get the caches onto it...any chance of a step by step for a computer novice?? thanks, Joe
