  1. Thank you both. I will learn about pocket queries. I've never used them.
  2. Is there a way that I can search on geocaching.com for geocaches that contain trackables?
  3. Well, today it seems to be working. I'm not sure what was happening yesterday when I was having problems. Yes, I did have a home location set in the profile, but it was giving me caches in Australia and Europe. It was almost like it didn't recognize the home location for some reason. Thanks to all who replies.
  4. When I request the list of newest caches, it gives me the list REGARDLESS OF WHICH CONTINENT IT IS ON. This list is only useful to me when I can look at the ones closest to me. When I request the list be sorted by nearest to furthest, it gives me a list of ALL caches, not just the newest. Does nobody test these features before they get released?
  5. Worked for me too! Many thanks for the help! I should have thought of trying this myself, but I assumed that the "you're up to date" message referred to Garmin Express because that was the program being used!
  6. For the last several weeks I have been unable to download a list of caches to my Garmin GPS. I keep getting the message "Request error: There is a problem with the content being sent. Try sending the content again." The same message is displayed every time and for all lists. I believe Garmin Express is up to date but I'm unsure if the "up to date" message refers to Garmin Express or the dashboard associated with my Garmin Oregon 650. The software version that is "up to date" is 5.03. The workaround is to download each gpx file manually, but I would prefer to download an entire list. Suggestions?
  7. Firefox under Win 7 no longer works when trying to download to a Garmin GPS. Are there any known fixes? Thanks.
  8. A cache description will sometimes include one or more pictures, but when I download the description to my GPS, the pictures are not included. I have a Garmin Oregon 450. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a limitation of the GPS?
  9. I know for sure that there is one (the signed version is new) as I downloaded it and it works fine (with the newest version of Firefox) I found it here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/ by searching for Garmin communicator This is weird. I just now downloaded the version I found as per your suggestion, and it did NOT work. Same error message. I have Firefox 43.0.1 and a Garmin Oregon 450. I received the following procedure from the support group at Garmin. It worked and I can again download the gpx files directly. As per the instruction, I went through the process 4 or 5 times before it worked. ------------ In the Firefox blocked pop up screen, please click the "X", in the top right corner of the "Blocked" message and refresh the browser page while you are on the Plug In Installation page. You may have to do this a couple of times before it acknowledges the plug in installation. To refresh the browser, please click on your F5 key on your keyboard. --------------

  11. Keep in mind that this is temporary. Next version will not allow you to change that setting anymore. Instead of jumping through hoops to keep the plugin working it's time to adjust your workflow. Please explain "it's time to adjust your workflow". Yesterday, for the first time, Firefox refused to allow the plug-in to work. It was working fine just last Friday. Another solution to the problem is to forget about using Firefox and use IE instead.
  12. When I was a non premium user, the maps I saw on geocaching.com were Mapquest maps. Now that I am a premium member, I see Google maps. The trails shown in parks near where I live are non-existent in Google maps, and are much better in Mapquest maps. Is there a way that I can change the version of maps that I see back to Mapquest?
