  1. The maps seem to work ok if you open up the map page and then click the refresh button when it's not loading correctly. When the page refreshes the map comes up ok. It seems to help map loading issues on both IE and FF.
  2. I had mentioned this in the main release notes thread last night, but I'll agree with simplysup. It looks like the refresh trick worked perfect. The map itself would show on the screen but the loading box would not go away, caches would not appear and clicking any permium checkboxes made no change. After I hit the refresh button the map loaded perfectly and I'm able to drag and alter the results with no problems. Great catch simplysup. BTW I'm on XP Pro SP3 and using FF 3.5.7.
  3. Hey all, I noticed the design layout but didn't even realize the scale of the updates that were being done until I came looking to see what had changed. But since there's a bug discussion going on I figured I'd mention the only thing I've noticed not working so far in a polite way <rant>since there's quite a few angry people that apparently don't understand an upgrade with this many changes in it and how many problems usually happen. </rant> I'm on Firefox 3.5.7 and it looks like the map doesn't want to load any results and continues to search while the box states that it's "loading map". Everything else that I've checked out so far looks to be working as it should though. Best of luck to ya guys
  4. Anyone try this on a 550t? It would be nice to have the cache icons next to the listing names. After a while it gets hard to remember which one was what lol
  5. So far, yes I've been happy with it but I haven't put it to a really hard test. But I did have plenty of time for a full day long hike which included locating 8-10 caches so it was doing plenty of work. Obviously, I only have a month of experience with it so far but since the last unit I was using was a nuvi I'm still in love with my Oregon :-)
  6. That last reply sounds right, what is the scale saying it is on the screen and do you see the + and _ buttons? If they're there, you're most likely zoomed all the way in at the 20ft scale and most likely a few feet from a road.
  7. I have an Oregon 550t and I've been using for about a month now, I've noticed I lose my first bar pretty quick but then it just steadily declines. I'm using the battery and the charger that came with the unit and I've made no changes from the default battery settings. Also, running the newest update on mine.
