  5. I'm all for progress. I believe that change is good. But I also believe that if it's not broken, you shouldn't fix it. So where do I find the Cache Attributes in the new App? Seriously, how could you forget about Attributes? And please don't tell me it will be added in a future release. Attributes have been around for years, they're not a new feature!

    "Open with app" kink

Oups, the title should obviously be "Open with app" LINK, not kink, sorry!
  7. I receive new caches notifications on my phone. I like to open these notifications in my phone's browser. I prefer this format to the app since I can see everything at a glance. If I want to go get the cache, I need to go back to the e-mail, select the link again and then chose to open it with the app. That's a lot of unnecessary selections. Is there a way to go directly from the website to the app? I use an android phone but I guess the same could apply to Iphones too. The Send to phone" link is useless. A great way would be to add the Geocaching app to the list of apps that a webpage could be shared with but I kniw nothing about apps and extension programming.

  12. It's (sadly) just an artist's view of what this request could look like. I too wish it were a real feature !
  13. Try this: <div class="mxStats" style="position:relative; top:-228px; left:412px;"> <div id="ctl00_ContentBody_ProfilePanel1_Panel_TrackableStats" class="stat"> | <img src="/images/icons/32/dnf.png" alt="" height="16" width="16"> 349 DNF</div> </div>
  14. There is always another way to do it ! I currently use GSAK. But sometimes, I forget to add the Corrected Coordinates indicator in GSAK. Or I leave a note on a cache page, wanting to come back to it later and forget about it altogether. A bookmark would be a great way to store these lists... But I think these bookmarks could be created and populated automatically. It's already in the database. As soon as a user puts a comment on a cache page, it could appear in this automatic bookmark.
  15. I think it would be great to be able to see a list of all the caches listings in which we have added a Personnal Note and/or corrected the coordinates. I use and/or meaning that it could be part of the same list or two different lists. Whenever I decode a puzzle or want to add extra info about a cache, I use these great features that are Personnal Notes and Corrected Coordinates. But once it's saved, there's no way to know in which cache listings I have used it.
  16. Try clearing your browser's cache. Should work then.

  20. Got the same bug here using Firefox 13.0 on Widows 7. Seems to work fine on the same computer if using Internet Explorer 8 though !
  21. As a lot of people do, I load the Beta Maps from a Bookmark in my Browser. I have set it with a specific Lat/Long and I also realized that I can play with the zoom factor by chnging the &z=15 URL handle. Anybody knows of any other customizable features that can be used in the Beta Maps URL ? Like, can I load them with My Finds/My Hides already hidden ? Or with satellite iew instead of Road Maps ?
  22. Ain't working for me. With IE7 I see the caches list but no map and with Firefox 3.0.5 the map shows but not the caches. And refreshing doesn't change anything for me....
  23. You should realise that every stage of a multi could result in a DNF. That's what a Multi is all about: the need to find multiple spots. If a geocacher fails to get what is required to find at one step, then their hunt is over and that's the way it should be. They either need to search more or you'll need to revise the status of this stage: does it require maintenance or correction ? So if you want to minimize the impact on the surroundings at a stage location, make it obvious to find on the trail, NOT IN YOUR TEXT. What you want is for them to REALLY NEED to physically go there but then easily find the requirements for the next step.
