  1. I just googled the Name of your Travel Bug, and the very first result had pictures of 2 Travel bugs complete with clear tracking numbers. I of course will not log them because I don't do that.
  2. On your profile page, on the right side 1/2 way down. Click "Manage Lists". You will find the Ignore list in there.
  3. Mine is at www.ghettomedicsgeocaching.blogspot.com
  4. My brother is constantly grabbing my vehicle TB. Often times I find it placed in some obscure cache half way around the globe.
  5. I am still trying to figure out what the big problem is with the "Like" button. Nothing is forcing you to click it, and even if you do only the people who are your friends on facebook can see it anyway. So if you are not friends with someone on Facebook than it makes absolutely no difference because they can't see it.
  6. ditto that. They have (from the update thread) Add this to the end of the "Nix White Space" script var allDivs, i; allDivs = document.evaluate( "//div[@class=LFNominateBanner]", document, null, XPathResult.UNORDERED_NODE_SNAPSHOT_TYPE, null); for (i = 0; i < allDivs.snapshotLength; i++) { allDivs.snapshotItem(i).style.display = "none"; }
  7. I am still trying to figure out why when I use firefox it automatically "Likes" EVERY cache page I visit. EDIT: And of course as soon as I post this it stops happening!
  8. "Grab from somewhere else" Then post a note to the cache that you got it from dropping it off. Then "Retrieve" from the cache. And you are set.
  9. To me it would depend on how far it moved, I logged a second find on a cache because the owner moved it over 300 feet and in a totally different way.
  10. I have a similar set up and just like yours the local wildlife tore that bird up.
  11. Enter a "Disable listing" log, Go to your cache page and click "Disable listing" on the right
  12. Apparently you clicked the box "Yes. I have read and understand the guidelines for listing a cache. " box without actually reading them. The very first line "Before a cache is published on the website, a volunteer will review the page for inaccuracies, bad coordinates, and compliance with these guidelines." You may want to brush up: Guidelines
  13. As much as you can come up with. I love to write about my finds, and the trip to the find. I also love to read logs.
  14. It is on every cache page all the time.
  15. Disabled already have a line through the name. But yes not a bad idea.
  16. I mention my blog at the end of every Found or DNF log. http://ghettomedicsgeocaching.blogspot.com
  17. What about using AutoPager, I have no idea how to set up a page to use auto pager but I do like it on the ones that already are set up.
  18. I have already offered to be the councilor for my troop. I plan on having them find at least one of the following: Traditional, Multi, Mystery. Also anyone I advise that seem to not be in it for the long haul will probably use my account (with their name in the "hidden by" field) for the purposes of long term care.
  19. indeed, because the GPS coordinates on gc.com are 2-dimensional only and have no altitude information. i don't believe the difference between top-of-bridge and bottom-of-ravine qualifies as significant barrier. I would think a 600 foot drop is significant.
  20. Problem here is, how would Groundspeak verify a death? My last will and testament, And I leave all my active Geocaches to......... There will be a death certificate.
  21. Sorry for the side track, but this makes me curious. If a ravine is deep enough does the 0.1 mile rule work vertically too?
