I am a neophyte geocacher, just getting started in this great hobby. I currently have a StreetPilot 2610 which works fantastic in the vehicle for mapping, routing, etc. However, for outside the vehicle I will need a decent handheld unit.
I had been reading about the 60C, but I wonder if it is overkill for me since I use the 2610 in the vehicle, and will just use the handheld on the trail.
OR is it better for me to splurge and go for the 60c since it is such a great unit?
Would the Etrex Vista or Legend be more appropriate as a unit secondary to the 2610?
What would you do ?
I truly appreciate any good suggestions or advice you can provide me.
