  1. I didn't think I would join this discussion, and did not the past few by the OP on the same subject, but this is exactly where I am left hanging. Why indeed? TROLLL
  2. Edited cos it is just not worth it for a troll
  3. Is that exactly what the deletion notice stated or is it what you are assuming ? I think before anyone answers this they would like to know what the deletion notice said, otherwise it is pointless trying to figure it out.
  4. Dude you would really be a geek if you published your destination cache on THESE while driving and doing all the other stuff aswell
  5. Emmett I noticed a constant throughout your post "PEOPLE COMPLAIN". No matter what the situation people will complain, it is their nature. Ted, age 6 ('cos I gots more posts than you, so I's gots to be better then u)
  6. I think it is Seagate hdd's that have screw holes in the magnets, so you can just screw them in.
  7. iGeocacher works great with no cell coverage. You have to be a PM though.
  8. Magellan Meridian Color. It has been dropped, baked, drowned and been to numerous countries. Ill get a new unit when it breaks. Probably another MeriCol off eBay.
  9. This is overlooking where I live Cache GCQWQ1 (Gillen) Not the best picture but gives you the idea that there is nothing for around1200 Km
  10. Nothing directly Geocaching related but 1+, 2+, 4+ HOYA filters Solar Racer
  11. Cool app. I been waiting for this. Haven't used it extensively yet but like it so far.
  12. DILLIGAF. I pay my $30 (gladly) as well as place vouchers for others to become Premies 'cos this site costs money to run. I have never contacted GC, so have never been treated rudely by them. If i start not to like the way things are going I'll stop geocaching.
  13. this is just proof of concept so probably would not happed but if you look at the other vids you will notice that various cars catch alight randomly. Hospitals also have flamable liquid.People generally talk louder than normal when on cell phones which is extremely annoying inside buildings.
  14. Birsbrücke 6 NW 14625.7km from your home coordinates I have since moved so it is now about 14630 km away
  15. The threats are real in some places One Two Read the posts by QFC and Vespax There are loads more stories like these
  16. I live in Australia and buy mine from Canada as the pricing is half to third the price. The base map is so not important it isn't funny. Most times I find that the basemap is off by up to 50km so is pretty useless in any case. I still have the North American basemap on my unit just cos I am too lazy to delete it. You can get the correct basemap installed but it is really not worth it. Just buy your detailed maps and install them.
  17. It really irritates me when people can't tell the difference between your and you're, there and their.
  18. So now are you a teacher or a computer glitch or both ? How does one get to be a computer glitch ? Do they advertise for those jobs ? Who are they ?
  19. I would rather take a nice drive and then hike for a few hours to find a great cache and come back with a few good stories than do those. Even with our gas prices currently around US$9/gallon
  20. Real number of cachers with over 200 finds
  21. So here is the thing. There are no more caches to find for about 300km and no towns for 500km, so I decided to make up some plastic membership vouchers. The whole idea is to place these in some caches around and when it is found the finder mails it back to me with their cacher name, I then purchase a years membership for them. My question is thus. If someones membership expires in say Jan 2009 and I renew it now, will it then extend their membership until Jan 2010 ? My memory is not that great anymore and I will forget to do it in 2009 for them.
  22. Whoa, I've been doing something wrong. You mean I'm supposed to hit the ball out in all that green grassy area? What are all those trees for then? The big open areas are for the amatuer players so they can get a feel for the game. Trees are where us pro's go.
  23. Not sure if this will work for every one but.... Log into Geocaching.com Click on "My Account". Scroll down untill you see "Google Mapping Features" on the right. Click the link there in. Save or Open as you see fit. Oh yeah you gotta have google earth installed :-) Should work
