  1. It seems that easygps is a lot easier for me to get this time aroun.d Thanks for the heads up.
  2. Oh... Oh my. Well I'll give that a try. I feel sort of foolish... if this works that is.
  3. I've used programs like easyGPS to send geocaches to my Garmin 225W a few times, but I was turned away from it because I can't edit the names of the geocaches on my computer before sending them over to my GPS. They all come up as their catalog names (i.e. GC2JPCQ) and I want it to be their titles, because that would be easier to find and remember than some digits. I'd like to know if there's a program that will let me do that, and if it is possible for a program to edit what folder they all go into, so that all of my geocaches can be saved in a different folder in my GPS like how my addresses are in one folder, while my points of interest are in another folder already.
  4. 19, did the poll too. And here I was thinking I was in the absolute smallest minority being a youngster.
  5. Thanks guys. I ran all around walmart the other day trying to find some, but they're so small and no one really knew where I should look. hah I'd just like to keep the log dry in case moister were to get into the container some how, extra precaution ya know.
  6. I agree, I recently went to a nice spot at a dam where there was a micro hidden, and a large cache could have easily been put here to go along with the fun setting and the vast range of hiding spots. I almost want to go back and put my own very close by but it'd sort of upset things. :/
  7. I was wondering about this just now, but for smaller caches, it's usually good to keep the log papers in a tiny plastic bag. The only problem is, I've already used all of the ones I have up, and the only time I come across them is when I buy electronics or something of the like. Does anyone know a good store perhaps to get your hands on small 2x3"-ish bags? It rains a lot here, and I'd like to be sure my logs don't get wet. heh
  8. My favorite piece of swag that I ever found was in my second geocache ever. The cache it was from is long gone now, but I remember the day quite well. The item was a band-type ring with lions on it. The fashion in which it was made makes it look pretty antique. I wear the ring almost every day and hope to find more exquisite stuff like it.
  9. I'm in little Enterprise way down here.
