  1. Ralann, Along those same lines... I have had this idea for at least 6 months but have never found a suitable bowling ball to do the trick. You beat me to the bowling ball but that just motivated me to get my TB launched. Check my newest TB: Chain Chomp Rupert2
  2. Along those same lines...I found two today. Actually I just about tripped over both of them as they were right next to a chahe. There is no listing in the database for them and the appear to be the standard USGS markers. Is there a way to report them or am I just wasting my time? I have to assume they put them out there for a reason...
  3. Common Sense should prevail here. Eventhough it is wrapped in camo tape shouldnt you write "geocache" on it? I thought that was one of the caching guidelines??? The writing does not have to ruin the camoflague... Rupert2 Cache On!
  4. I am also an avid banknote collector. I typically leave a banknote with my handle stamped on it. It is definately a sig item, but the banknote changes daily. Here is one example.
  5. To take a completely different tack on this issue, I read within the last couple of months in Indianapolis Monthly magazine that the Indy Parks staff will actually help new cachers get started geocaching at Holiday Park. There are only a couple of caches in this park, however someone within the parks department sees the value. I would certianly not interpert this as a policy statement on behalf of the City of Indianapolis, however in a time when we see nothing but rules and permits being implemented, it is definately a much needed bit of good news.
  6. Of course I would pick it up. TBs should present some sort of challenge other than just moving them around. Lugging that thing through the woods would be a definate challenge, not to mention getting to see the looks on the muggles' face with you emerge from the forrest with a bowling ball. I love large bugs Here is one of my own. Not heavy but large: Geo Gnome Better than a heavy haul, I would love to see the look on the face of the TSA inspector scanning that luggage for a flight.
  7. Good evening all. Looks like I am first to surface from Hendricks Co. (West of Indy) although I do alot of caching in the Fishers and Lawrence areas too. Good to see you names out there in the logbooks. As a matter of fact I picked up a Poppagoth geocoin today! Rupert2
