    ISQ Finds

I am at 136 ISQ Finds (Including 1 Ontario Spirit Quest Find). Check this out at ISQ #166: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...c4-2f96cf7bea4a
  2. Cache maintenance pays off at ISQ #166! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...c4-2f96cf7bea4a Thanks Shadow!
  3. Hey Lead Dog! You forgot about my photos from day 2 of the Prebster Restoration
  4. Before (April 17, 2005): After (September 30, 2007): This is one of the best projects I have ever participated in. I hope to see more.
  5. I was there for all of day 2. It was one of the most rewarding projects I have ever participated in. Photos of day 2 are up on the CITO listing. I placed that cache over 2 and 1/2 years ago. The before and after pictures are absolutely stunning. I hope we can arrange for more of these in the near future. You will most definately be sore at the end of the day, but it is well worth it! We should also recognize Doobies, IC1, and Ubear & Stinky for putting in TWO FULL EIGHT-HOUR PLUS DAY OF HARD, PHYSICAL LABOR ON THIS PROJECT. YOU GUYS ROCK!
  6. OK, Will bite. My TB is Making the Cut! It was given to me so I don't really care about the value, but one of the other cachers said they go for $75 on ebay. The photos and comments are worth way more than that to me. Unfortunately someone will not move it forward.
  7. I AGREE and will pick up where you left off. The roadside crosses themselves are tacky. Nothing more than roadside trash IMHO . Besides the obvious safety concerns, why would I be interested in finding a cache on or near one of these anyways ? Of course why do we go in search of caches under lamp skirts?
  8. Indy Diver must be a Saint. I can only imagine what that would have been like:
  9. At what depth are you testing these? Head pressue should not be ingnored.
  10. GOOD GOING AMBER! The Shadow??? That one is easy. It's Doobies
  11. Congratulations Team Shydog on your #1000th find and 2nd project APE cahe.
  12. Here are my favorites: Rupert2's Favorite Caches I shall not categorically say that I like/dislike caches based on size. It is all a matter of selecting the right tool for the job. Sure, micros can be lame but then again so can some ammo cans. Yep, you will find a couple of micros on my list...
  13. You signed the log first and replaced the cache. Sounds like a straight forward FTF to me.
  14. I quoted this from another thread. It gives the other extreme possibility...
  15. This one was mentioned in antoher thread. Closed down the entire campus "with permission" of course. More Power To Ya
  16. Talk with anyone who works on a bomb squad. Most legitimate bombs are boxes. What are most bombs made out of? Tupperware. All of talk about pipe bombs is laughable. Besides, they had permission from the property owner and the continer was clearly labled. I do not recommed using pipe becuase they freeze in the winter. Not only can you not open them, but they split and crack when water gets in the threads. They do not make a good container.
  17. Did you find the cache? Did you sign the log? If so then there is no shame in claiming the find. Claiming the find does not necessarily mean that you enjoyed or approved of the cache itself, rather that you just found it. The only time I would not claim the find is when you go out looking for a cache with the intent of encouraging its demise (due to content, placement, whatever). Don't over analyze claiming the find, after all it supposed to be about the smiley you get on your face and not the little electronic one.
  18. This one can be found at: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...a7-7959e9e55984 Thanks for both of those great (and very unique) stories. I have added both to list.
  19. I work in the business and can say that it is very competitive right now. Last year my company placed an ad for a summer intern. We probably recieved 50 or so resumes from grad students on up thru those with 20 years of experience (yes, for a $12 per hour position). Although I really enjoy my involvement in the field, it is probably not the most profitable business to be in right now.
  20. Here is the the bookmark "Bomb Scares and Other Fun Stuff" (created by QuestMaster). If you know any new ones please list them here. Here is the newest one: Under The Sea II http://www.wtoc.com/global/story.asp?s=6649001
  21. The Omega Group is a magician. He is more into hiding than find though. A couple of his werereal doozies!
  22. Um, the first geocache in the state is on it? Did you have some other suggestion? We are discussing this design? Correct? No cache here. Oh, these are variation of the back. Got it! In that case either is good
