  1. https://forums.geocaching.com/GC/index.php?/topic/400247-archived-geocaches-not-showing/&do=findComment&comment=6144248 See above.
  2. I use the old all the time, only two days ago did I have problems with it.
  3. When I check your finds 4044 and hides I get 10. Archived missing. Chribli account I checked.
  4. I posted yesterday on this issue with found and hidden caches. Groundspeak is looking in to it. On the official app they will show up. Are you using Chrome as your browser?
  5. This is the link I get. https://www.geocaching.com/play/results?hb=SW00P&sa=1&sort=PlaceDate&asc=False If I go map view I can see them all. This is strange. If I look at another cacher same results.
  6. My found caches is only 4675. That's thousands off. Houston we have a problem.
  7. Using new dashboard I got them all. But if I click my profile go to public profile and click on geocache hides I get 20 hides.
  8. Today I looked at all my hides on the website. When I click on Geocaches Owned (All Geocache Hides) Only my active hides show up. It used to be all my hides active and archived showed up. I went to geocache app and all show up. I checked settings but nothing to check to show or not show archived hides.
  9. Just did geoguessr for third time. There are two trackable codes. One you can find 10 times. I used a desktop with a mouse. After you guess a correct location you get a green update screen. The TB is on that page. Left corner. Upon completion you get the other trackable number. Good luck. Lots of learning on this promotion.
  10. I only got one trackable code. I didn't see any dog tag to click on. I found 2 codes a TB and a 30 day free premium code to use in the app.
  11. How do you use 30 day free premium membership? I have recurring membership. In geocaching app it says nothing.
  12. Here is what I found in the guidelines. Doesn't mention team names. So a CO could decide not to accept made up names to save space. Per the guidelines. Found it You can log caches online as "Found" after you visited the coordinates and signed the logbook. You can also add a photo or a Favorite point to your online log. Please take time to write at least a few sentences when you log your find — this is how you say “thank you” to the cache owner for creating and placing the geocache. EarthCaches and Virtual Caches have different logging requirements.
  13. Personally I just sign the log. That's what the guidelines says to do. I'm not against stamps. But I would think it should have there caching name on it. I would assume your post is maybe pointing to only one member present but stamping for the other three?
  14. Use 1234567899@vtext.com if you have Verizon. The other carriers have similar links. 1234567899 would be your phone number.
  15. In this case, he was first to sign the log but doesn't qualify for a "found it"......yet. So FTF is still up for grabs. This exact scenario happened to me about 10 years ago. I was out of state when challenge cache published. A local signed log, but even said they didn't qualify for a find. Got home found it next. Of course others will say he signed the log first.
  16. If a geocacher posts a NM log only the cache owner can clear it. As soon as a reviewer gets notification of inactivity the archive clock starts. I have done maintenance on many caches that aren't mine. Usually don't even get a thanks. Sometimes it's best to let the guidelines play out.
  17. Cache owners are responsible for maintenance. That's what they agreed to when they hid it. Cache finders are only required to sign the log. Other requirements if earthcache or virtual.
  18. You could make them premium caches. Basic members wouldn't see the coordinates, but they could still get the posted coordinates (a little time involved). In my experience make your hides a multi, puzzle, letterbox or reverse Wherigo. You get less newbie cachers. You can't control what any muggle or cacher thief will do. Good luck.
  19. Today is December 17 th. So do logged finds count? Leaderboard hasn't reset, it resets tomorrow. Nothing in app about souvenir. So how do we know it counts?
  20. Try this. https://www.geocachingtoolbox.com/index.php?lang=en&page=coordinateProjection
  21. 2. After watching the films, go to surveymonkey.com/r/GIFF2023 OR scan the QR code at the end of the film.
  22. Yesterday 2 new geocache hides published near me. GCAG6TG and GCAG05W. I checked profile 0 finds and 2 hides. Been a basic member for a week. No location. Later on they logged 2 finds in Colorado. What's interesting is where do they live? Can the reviewers see a location? Placing a cache that far away would mean a maintenance plan without someone local. This seems to happen more now than before. My guess is these hides will be short lived. The one hide is on a cul-de-sac. I assume neighbors won't be ammused.
  23. I put notes in the Personal Cache Note block. As long as I am premium member it's there. No searching for it. Works for me.
  24. Looking for information on how many reviews for a problem adventure lab before grouundspeak intervenes. Yesterday a new geocacher with no finds completed one of my adventure labs with 5 stages. The geocacher now has 5 finds. He left a review so he completed the lab. Said it was done with his daughter. But he left two reviews with problems on one stage. First said coordinates are off, second said area not accessible. But he completed all five stages. First complaints with 78 reviews. Is there a way to clear these or just ignore? Will HQ do anything?
