  1. It seems like I'm not the only one confused. Why did Groundspeak just announce this Friday and implementing it on Tuesday...that doesn't give us enough time to figure out which cache pages are affected. I use the Mozilla Firefox "Xinga" HTML editor to do my cache pages when I'm using HTML. Is it all of it, or just certain links, etc? Geochecker? pictures? This is so confusing because I don't actually write the language, I use the HTML editor to write it. I need some more help than "what is allowed"...has anyone found anyone speaking in layman's terms out there that can help us?
  2. I don't see why geocaching.com chose to create "Challenges" over adding back in "Virtuals". I think they are one in the same, with the exception that Virtuals required a GPS coordinate, a submission, a review and a publish. These "challenges" are taking up a lot of "somebody's" time to keep up with them all, to review and either keep or delete, as well as depleting the value of getting a cache with coordinates. Even if they keep these "challenges", I think there should be an "opt-in" or "opt-out" option for those cachers who would like to do participate in the challenges, but not let it affect their "cache numbers".

  4. We visited Branson MO and cached within hours of arriving and spent the next 3 days in the hospital due roan baby osage copperhead biting my husband in the finger. Please read the following log and additional note I had to write because my log was too long. ALWAYS get/know the species of snake and ALWAYS get medical help regardless of poison (fangs left in bone, etc can lead to huge infection) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...67-77d105fe69df http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...92-b99efe34c9b9
  5. You are absolutely wrong that you can't use the iPhone to go caching. I ONLY have the iPhone and I'm almost at 100 since Oct 27, 08. I have found plenty of micros, even nanos, but I use the map instead of the navigation, which is more accurate.
