Has anybody used the Garmin handlebar mount when riding. When I'm riding the gps shuts off. I have talked to Garmin and they said maybe the battery comes lose. Has anybody had this problem? If so how did you fix it? I like to go riding and geocaching at the same time and really would like to use the gps on the handlebar.

I need more note space. It would be great to increase the space available for a “NOTE”. We should be able to have unlimited characters with scrolling. When I purchased the 60cs, I thought that is what I was getting. I wanted to be able to go paperless and be able to use only one instrument when geocaching. I think this option/update should be a priority.

Ok, I still need help. I don't know if I'm just plain stupid or the GPS is unable to put the notes. I did what you said and all I get is the name and who it's by. Could it be a memory problem? Is there any other software out there that can upload more notes or hints? When I purchased this I was under the impression that I would be able to upload all the info from a geocache site....did I spend over $400 for nothing? Also I am also using the MapSource with my 60cs.

I'm sorry I forgot to say what kind of GPS I have. I have a GPSMap 60cs. I could use all the help I can get. Thanks in advance for any advise anybody wants to give me.

I am using GSAK to upload my cache's. I thought I was going to be able to upload the hints or notes to the GPS. Could somebody please help me out?

I am so darn frustrated. According the the Garmin Manual it says to press enter on the desired geocache on my list to display the information page. Then it says to highlight the "Go To" button and press enter to navigate to a geocache. Then it says that the Compass Page changes to"Geocache Navigation" mode and any additional information about the downloaded cache location is displayed in the comment field. MY PROBLEM IS I CAN'T GET THE "GEOCACHE NAVIGATION" TO DISPLAY. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!! I bought this just for geocaching and I haven't been able to do this part. I would appreciate any help anybody can give me. I have been using GSAK to download my caches. Do you think it is my software??
