Thanks Criminal for the posts. We lived on the head waters of the Missouri river outside of Helena MT. I owned a rather large brown dog at the time called Picus. My mother saw Picus swimming across the channel of the river and ran down to the riverbank to call him back. Picus just kept swimming to the other side ignoring my mothers pleas to come back. As Picus emerged from the river, my mother got the shock of her life as Picus had grown into a full size adult Grizzley Bear. We took photos, I wish I could share but havent located them in some time. The photos would also reveal that the Grizzly had swam to a small beach that jutted out from a straight faced bluff over 300' in hieght and the only return path would be back to our side of the river, which the Grizzy did, but much further down stream then where we were at.

I thought it was disturbing at first, having the controls on top, but now wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the thread information. One of the posters states that it may be because I changed the color scheme, and should set to the factory default. Unfortuanately I don't know what the factory default was, nor do I see a setting to get me back to the original colors.

Finally located the Marine points icon for "tide stations"but when I select a city and hit enter the unit powers down. All other functions seem to work fine. Any one else have this problem. I am bummed, don't want to have to send this unit back for repairs.

I have not found the tide charts. In fact, I am having some difficulty navigating around with this GPS. I just got this, so my experimenting has just started. I finally broke down and bought one after using my Lowrance Airmap for the last few years.
