  2. Have no fears PP the shield is still with us but has a few new battle "dings" in it. We'll replace it with a new shield or an alcohol equivalent the next time we meet (hopefully not to far in the future!). Our tent survived the windy onslaught thanks to Pengy & Tigger and the HofBs Biodome en suite facilities unfortunately Peter did leave the event with his mind yet again in alcohol induced tatters... HURRAH! Till next year you beautiful nights of yore! House Of Boo
  3. "Very funny as always, but there's no way Pete of House of Boo is a medium" - Simply Paul Next to your wide load aiss Simply Paul your right I'm definitely less than a medium!!! Pure class Mr. Elph, yet again reaffirming your standing as the UK geocaching communities Steven Spielberg! 5. A big THANKS and CHEER to everyone who showed up to this years Carry On Camping and let their hawaiian hair down all for the cause of being carefree! Just added some photos from our ickle camping jaunt which you can see HERE. Special thanks goes to Pengy & Tigger who streamed the mayhem every 2 minutes to the unsuspecting world, Lordelph for yet again filming all sorts of strangeness (see online photos above for clarification ) and Mattwaggie who brought Peter one of his favourite shirts to wear at the BBQ. Its still early days but we'll be pencilling in the next Carry on Camping (2007) in for exactly the same days next year for anyone interested! 15. Evening Campers Sorry for the delay - but things have been hectic at the House of Boo!! We have carefully checked and double checked the emails we have received from people wanting to book their slot on the camping event and therefore can confirm the following. At present we have a list of teams who are attending and a reserve list. As we have had such a fantasic response we have had more people applying then we actually have space for. Therefore if anyone drops out from the main list we shall contact the first name on the reserve list to fill the space (I hope this makes sense). So the teams / individuals who are booked for the camping event are:- Bizarre Matt Waggie Cachehoppers G Force LordElph Alibags Philimore Clan Pengy & Tigger Gaz, Nes & Laila Snerbe Cavetroll & Eeyore Aliceband Moote Beddlington Duo Sparticus Laughalot Team Vorvik Browni BareClawz Kiwi Gary & Tulip Ma The Hancock Clan Little Miss Naughty The Collie Wobbles Team Stora The Northern Invaders Wozere Bud Lightbeer Drums4Monty Ryker Us 4 & Jess Scooby, Scrappy & MP Yorkypud (visiting but not camping) In the next few days an email will be sent to all of these teams / individuals confirming that they still wish to attend, and if they do what they need to do next. The reserve list is currently The West Viewers Red Squadron DavyBoy If anyone from the main list drops out the teams on the reserve list will be contacted (who ever contacted us first will be given priority). The actual event page will be hopefully finished this weekend and will (fingers crossed) be live from next week. We can once again confirm that the event will take place in Derbyshire from Friday 9th June to Sunday 11th June 2006. House of Boo PS: If anyone would like to be added to the reserve list who is not listed above please email us your name and details - thank you!!

  18. Hello All Can anyone give us the comprehensive way of putting mm maps onto the pda, with icon overlays which link up (when clicked) to the relevant cache pages. And try and do it in a way that someone who is a borderline ADD sufferer will be able to digest! Im of course not asking because I cant get it to work...ahem.. no im of course asking on behalf of a friend...ahem! Cheers House Of Boo
  19. Before the west side story of campers vs caravaners begins, let us make some more enquiries about whether we can wangle some wagons on site... No promises but we can but try! House Of Boo
  20. *Bing Bong* Hello campers! So here are the basics so far: 58 people are allowed to camp (60 including the House Of Boo) this is the maximum number of campers allowed on site due to facility restrictions! Dogs are allowed, but they must be kept under control and supervised! Caravans are unfortunately not allowed (but there will be a contingency plan for cachers who will only stay under a solid roof, but we wil have to do more research - oooh mysterious). The nearest cache is a pleasent one and a half mile stroll away. Theres 50+ caches within a 10 mile radius (meaning cars will be needed...but then again when arent they)! More information will be posted soon... House Of Boo BTW -prelimanary bookings are already being taken via email so we can get an idea of numbers at an early stage! *Bing Bong*
  21. The site has been confirmed, the dates have been finalised... CARRY ON CAMPING 2006 IS GO!!! more details to follow....oooh the anticipation is killing me! House Of Boo
  22. The actual event "page" will be put up when we have finalised information otherwise it might be a bit strange/confusing changing information half way through if things dont go to plan. But as soon the event location is confirmed the page will be loaded up and it will be logged on this thread with a link to it! Hope that helps! House Of Boo
  23. *Bing Bong* Hello Geo-campers We should be able to stop some of the disgruntlement from any camp site owners, if everything goes to plan, as we're going to take up the entire campsite with cachers... a muggle free Geo-camping experience The rest lies in our hands!!! Keep praying for that golden sunshine people! More information coming soon!!! *Bing Bong* House Of Boo
  24. Just a quick note to all Geocampers:- The next Carry on Camping event will be somewhere in Derbyshire (full details to follow) from Friday 9th June to Sunday 11th June 2006. Let us commence the prayers for good weather!!! House of Boo
