Locking the doors doesn't really stop anybody. Often these guys break the windows without checking the doors.
I went to college in Rochester. Its a tough town.

I don't hink I've ever seen a cacher say they're better than some with fewer finds.... more experineced maybe but not better.

The number of logs one has doesn't make you better than those with fewer. The issue is one of right or wrong. If an owner publishes criteria for an acceptable find and a finder meets those criteria, then the find should stand. If an owner deletes such a find, it is wrong. What is with people in this forum? If you had read my earlier posts you would see that what I think of people deleting legitimate logs.
And you would also see that there are some who seem to think they are more qualified to post here and pass judgement because they have more finds.
What they really have is more free time then the rest of us.

Brian and sbell are in different states quite a distance apart.
So unless Brian travels to TN then I doubt this about sbell.

If I were to do a cache that was only reachable by canoe or kayak, would that be acceptable?
In the colder months here in NJ the cache would probably be unreachable.

I've done parts in NJ & NY, back in the day. Also, hike a couple of the High Peaks in the Adirondacks, Marcy, Alqonguin.
Miss the mountians. Not much to see here in NJ.

If someone does do a coffe mug cache and they see a Survivor Outback Mug let me know!
I collect them. I had the Outback one but someone stoled it off my desk at work. I can't seem to find any even on Ebay!!

The particular cache that gave me trouble was at the interesection of three roads one of which was a bridge. There's alot of traffic coming around blind corners. I drove by a couple of times but didn't see a legal spot to park. You can't slow down in NJ to try and get a better look or else you get horns and yells.
I ended up parking in a lot thats was for residents only. Luckily I got to the cache and back before I got a ticket.
