  1. A friend/fellow cacher and I were out looking for a cache at night a few nights ago, and he mentioned a pretty good disguise that would get you looks, but nobody would bother you. . . Wear a suit, sunglasses, and an earpiece, and carry a silver briefcase handcuffed to your wrist. . . People will assume you are some government agent that's doing something top secret. lol I think I'm going to give that one a try next time I'm out on a cache.
  2. I bought an '88 Jeep Wrangler, joined up over on JeepForum.com, stumbled across a thread titled "Jeeocaching-Jeeping+Geocaching", and the rest is history. I've had my Jeep for a little over a week, and I'm trying to come up with the money to buy a decent handheld GPSr so I can really get involved. That's how I discovered geocaching, and I think I'm hooked now. Now if only that Wrangler got better gas mileage so I could afford to drive farther to find caches. . . lol
  3. No damage yet, except for my pride from the several DNF's, and a slightly lighter wallet from the gas in a 20 year old Wrangler. . . I've been having a blast though, wouldn't trade the experience for anything at this point!
  4. I have a HP iPaq 6315, it's a smartphone for tMobile, but I never used it as a phone. It can be unlocked for a fee through an online service, but I never took the plunge. I will sell it for what I paid for it, $140+shipping. It comes with the detachable keyboard, charging/syncing cradle, original packaging, and the Owner's Manual. Let me know if you're interested, I can ship the first business day after payment is received, and references can be provided on request. I'm looking to buy my first handheld GPS, and it's time to sell one of my gadgets to facilitate that purchase.
  5. Interested in a trade for HP iPaq 6315 SmartPhone? I paid $150 for it a couple months ago, I just really need a GPS right now, I've been hunting for caches using my laptop. . . lol I'll include the manual, cradle, detachable keyboard, and original packaging. It's currently locked to the t-mobile network, I was just using it as a PDA, so no need to unlock. PM me if interested!
