Interesting. I just sent mine in for the same thing. Everything but the shipping was covered by Garmin. When it came back, it was a new unit. New serial number. Wasn't even close to being in warranty. I'd say try again and see what happens.

I was so frustrated to see the owner holding the cache after the beating we took in the blackberry's, I wasn't sure I would have said something nice. I decided to keep my mouth shut....for once...

Guess I need a little claification on the rules. We solved the puzzle quickly, headed off to find the cache. Looked for about an hour in what we think is the right spot. We decide to leave, and verify that we do have the right coords. Alas we're pretty sure we pass the cache owners, (holding a tub that says "geocache") on their way in to hide it. Does that mean I get to claim FTF for a cache that wasn't there ? It's time to have a minimum number of finds before you can place.

I would still like to see a PQ where you could specify a benchmark as the type of cache. Mickey Mousing around with other websites doesn't seem like the way I want to spend my time. I'd really like to use a PQ, download it into GSAK and be on my way. Member feature only maybe ? or an additional nominal fee ?

I'd like to know also. I'm at the radio towers quite often, and like to take a walk at lunch.

We've just discovered widgets and Konfabulator. Very very cool. We've been looking for a geocaching related widget for the screen and haven't found any yet. Just wondering if anyone has see one ? Also looking to see if their is any sort of rss feed planned for the forums or the main site ?

I've had the same discussion with me, myself, and I. I added the GCXXXX code in 1/2 " letters on the door . Looks like a regular panel to muggles, but should be obvious to us.
