  1. how do you attach a photo to your posting in The forum????
  2. here's a couple of pictures I took of my 'nano remover/roller'that I said 'were to come'I hope these will give you a better idea of what I'm talking about. O.K.,I have no idea how to attach a picture to this....can anyone help me.
  3. I just replied to another thread with this 'tool' idea I had,figured...maybe make it it's own thread. I don't know if this has been thought of before?Anyway...I took a 'cotter pin' (spelling?) (the 'pin' that you stick in hole of a rod, etc.,then bend the two ends over,to hold said rod from sliding out.I'm sure there's a better description.)Again, anyway, I drilled a hole in the end of a 3/4 inch dowel (1 to 2 inchs long)then glued 'cotter pin'into said hole. I have found this makes the perfect nano log remover and a perfect log roller. I will try to post a picture later. O.K.,Tried to attach photos, found out I don't know how. Can anyone help me?
  4. for nano's I took a 'cotter pin'(spelling???) (the things you stick in the hole of rods after inserting said rod into/through an object..so said rod does not slide out)... and cut off a piece of 3/4 wood dowel (about 1 inch long)...drilled hole in end... and glued said 'cotter pin' into said hole. Just slide 'cotter pin' into nano and pull...also,then makes the perfect 'log roller' to wind nano cache back up. I made a few and they work perfect. Will try to post pictures later.
  5. O.K.,where to begin? I'm provided a service for the hobby I love.A hobby (passion) that brings great joy, exercise, travel to places I normally wouldn't go to,and meeting new people with the same interest.I have access to a service that will organize this whole crazy thing on a website. This service gathers, reviews, posts, etc. 'items'(caches)of my passion. This service provides me with MY OWN 'site page' to keep MY OWN information together, all I have to do is log caches and they handle the rest.I get stats,finds,etc..I do not have the time, knowledge,or means to do all this for myself (if geocaching.com didn't exist)on a webpage of my design.So...is it worth it,YES!.Even beyond the 'pocket querry','premium only' caches, etc.,it is worth every dime of it. Is paying this premium membership fee going to a "business","company",or whatever....yes,and I could care less.Their providing me with a service I want/need.
  6. I understand the thought process here....which 3 CACHES ,But in the big picture of things (in a geocaching sense) I would pick one and thoroughly and immensely enjoy the planning of getting the caching crew together, picking a cache, the trip to the cache, all the crazy and hilarious mishaps along the way, coming back home bruised, tired, and totally satisfied from the wonderful experience that is geocaching. Geocaching in and of itself is a pretty silly animal (finding tupperware and signing a piece of paper),To me... it is totally about 'the journey' and all the memories that come with it.
