Meanwhile I can verify that the weird behavior described (I would rather say: bug) was due to the attached files being too big. With downsized files, it worked. In order to get rid of the improper "new message" balls, I just sent a new message (without photos...) to the recipient. Then I could also read my previous message that seemed to have been absorbed somewhere, and also the order of the chats on the left side got correct again.

Hi Stebu, I have never received an email notification. Is it really 20MB? Or rather 2 MB? And the message center should give an error message if the attachments are too big rather than showing such a weird behaviour! Best regards Matthias

Yesterday I sent (or rather: tried to send) a message to another cacher using the MC and attach a photo (JPG). After a Minute or so, the "Sending..." button was gone. But: I do not see my newly sent message on the left side. The recipient (I had some conversation with him earlier) still appears on the left side, but with the date of the previous message between the two of us. When I navigate to him, I just see the previous conversations, but not my new message. What is more strange: There is an orange "New message" ball next to his Avatar on the left side, and I get the "new message" ball next to the MC icon in the top frame all the time. This state is still the same today (I am even on a different computer now). What is going on there? Is there a size limitation on attachments that I may have exceeded (I have not found a hint to that in the help center, though)? Anyway, I would expect an error message and not such a behaviour. My browser is IE11 on Win7 (on both computers) Best regards Matthias

Just now, I could read my MC Messages again with IE11. Word wrap seems to work again, and I could also answer a message and see the "Send" button. Thank you for these quick fixes, and don't quit fixing!

It is just not working here (I use IE 11). When reading Messages, there is no word wrap, so that I have to scroll to the far right in order to read the full text. When I want to answer a fellow cacher, it is even worse: The text input field immediately is expanded to the full screen width, without any scrollbars, and I do not even see the "Send" button. So the only action I can take after writing a message is to cancel it. I do not see any way to send a message any more. Unusable! Please let me opt out of this new message center as soon as possible!

I now understand that the map on geocaching.com is not a tool to locate waypoints, but rather an overview map to look at where Caches are in my region. So now I am using Google maps for locating waypoints. I thought the geocaching.com map would supply this locating functionality as well.

The "middle of the map" is not a point I can easily locate on the map. A pin marker would easily allow to locate e.g. the final coordinates of a mystery. In addition, a coordinate grid would also be a helpful option. E.g. Google maps has both, so I think I need GC map for seeking for caches and Google maps for locating coordinates.

Hi there, when I search for an address or a set of coordinates on the Website map (www.geocaching.com/maps), I do not see some marker of the Point I searched for, thus I cannot tell where this coordinate is exactly. Is this by purpose? Best regards Matthias
