Thanks hydnsek. Since you acquinted me with this new hobby in the first place, I thought it only proper to pass this milestone on one of your fine Cougar Mtn hides!

Several months ago I picked up a TB from a cache, but found the owner had failed to activate it. I waited for the possibility of a post-mission-initiation activation, but it hasn't happened in about six months. It is an old style bug with the stamped (rather than embossed) number on it, and the problem is clearly not a misinterpretation of the number. Any chance I can get an activation code for this TB and send it on its owners intended way?

I grabbed a TB in one of my first caches last fall. When I tried to log it in, it came up unregistered. I've waited for about 5 or 6 months, but whoever dropped it evidently forgot to register it before dropping it. I tried activiating with the code I got for my TBs, but that doesn't work. It seems to be an older type, TB with a punched number (removed by moderator) rather than the newer embossed numbers. If anyone can tell me how to get it registered, I'll do so and get it on its way. Is there some way that a cache owner can clear out obviously MIA TBs from their cache site page? I've sent messages to the MIA TBs owners, but they have not acted to deactivate the missing bugs.

My beef is with TB and coin owners who don't record their travellers as missing. I advise owners when a recently dropped bug is not in the reported cache and hasn't been logged, but I've sent emails to some owners of long-MIA bugs asking them to delist them, and have gotten no response. Is there some way to clear the automated cache logs of clearly missing bugs and coins, particularly when the owner seems to be MIA as well?
