I'm a member of GSMGC and there are several members from your area such as DMflyer and such. -
I can't go to the jamboree, but I'm not too bummed because i I'd rather spend 1 night by myself in the woods than a week at a camp or camporee.

Way to get to the point. I'm 15, on the school climbing team, a star scout in Troop 6 out of Knoxville, Tn, and like to whitewater kayak.

Oh you are hilarious Yucca Patrol. I looked that up on USA PhotoMaps and its maybe 1 mile from the nearest paved or gravel road on a 700 foot hill that can be accessed by walking or driving a 4x4 rode between .5 to .75 miles. Not class five terrain. -

Changes In Geocaching Members...

No offense to any of the mods or Jeremy, but I think part of the reason for the heated debates and tempers lately is the new OT forum. Some of the people who tend to flair up may not be able to do this in a productive way. And since they are not premium members they may feel like they have no place to really explain their problems and they turn to flames and personal attacks as a result.(Somebody say something if I'm completely off my rocker.) -
Pretty shifty and incredible.

Is this a joke because you sure have confused me. -
Gregory Palisade. Mine is about 4500 cu. inches. I use it all the time and it hasn't shown any sign of wear.

Another Thread Whining About Micros…

I like regulars as much as the next person, but at the moment I don't have my liscense to get to where I want to place a cache and I don't have enough money to go buy quality containers like ammo cans. I usually use what I can get my hands on easy and cheap and that is usually a micro. -
I guess if you put it that way.

They're not that big. Maybe 7 or 8 inches. They do weigh quite a bit though.

Inappropriate Items Left In Cache

Welcome to Tennessee caching. Here, the running joke is if there is a lot of poison ivy near a cache site, go to the middle of the patch and you will probably find the cache. And then the mosquitos are terrible in the summer. -

It gets bad when you have your gps out during class, while the teacher is talking, putting in coord to see how far away you are form the guessed waypoint. -
I feel your pain. Try ebay.

Maybe a racoon, or a fox, or possibly even a possum.

The one right now is too light, I would recomend a grey or so.
