  1. I only stumbled on someone taking a dump. It just so happened that stage 2 of the multi i was doing was right next to where he was dumping.
  2. What would you people think if you found a cache that you needed to bring a dadgum ladder to get? Straight tree 15' u p and you had to figure out how to get it.
  3. How many stages have you encountered? Over 10? over 20?
  4. Ummm well...No we don't really. It is just one of the biggest legands in PA that big cats are here. I agree and I dont agree with your statement. I do alot of hunting in the woods in and around bloomsburg. I have been hunting up there for almost 20 years now. On state game lands 226 there is the report of a big cat. One of the locals up there, Brad higgins who lives back in that area, had his beagle eaten by the big cat. He had called the PGC(pa game commission) and they said he saw a bobcat. Well when he got to his back door after his beagle stopped barking he saw the cougar with the beagle in his mouth and took pictures of it. He then called the PGC and they came to his house and confiscated his film and told him there are no such animals in the state. I have seen big cat prints in the snow pulling out deer carcass from the deer pits(where they throw roadkill and poached deer). Im not saying that there is a bunch of them in the state. I live in southeast pa(near philly) and we have sightings and people getting them on video tape every few months or so. Around here we may not have a substantial "wild" population of big cats, but they do exist in the state. ALot of "officials" think they were once someone's pet that they could no longer take care of or want so they just let them go. This may be the case here in PA. I have seen bobcats and I have seen cougars(not in pa, when i was in CO). I know the difference in the signs they leave.
  5. Depending on the season and time of year I will carry a gun. Sometimes a rifle, other times a shot gun. I am an avid hunter and a part time geocacher. The rest of the time I have my .357 mag. We have some big cats here in PA even if the game commission denies it. If im and doing local suburban caching I wont bring anythng. Im schooled in the art of hockey fighting and tae kwon do!
  6. Well out here in PA i went and found a 4 stage multi when this black dude told me i was disturbing him.. Here he was taking a s*** around where the 3rd stage was hidden.. So I had to wait for the jackass to get done dumping my the cache area. Also in Rest Areas you have to watch out,, Some people stash micros there and the rest stops turn out to be Fag havens.. Hey if thats what you are into more power to ya.. Not trying to offend anyone, its just that Im not an overly PC person and believe this country has become too sensitive.

    Approver

Id like to know one becomes an approver of cachers
  8. I wish.. I always wanted to know. I just asked this last week and i was told to post a note to my cache. This way all who are watching will see it and you can request them to email you and let you know they are watching.
  9. I was thinking on a more broad federal regulations. I know about the dcnr, montco parks etc..
  10. With the fact of terrorism as a part of life. I have read news articles about police finding caches and blowing them up etc. Do you forsee any regulations and having to have government approval before hiding one?
  11. i asked for a garmin legend for xmas, wound up with a magellan sportrak map. i went 4 months without a GPSr after it was stolen from my truck.
  12. We have a few out here outside philly. Our newest one is a one mile hike around a lake. They arent too terribly tough to do.
  13. True.. But how many people have truly done a night cache. Once you do one, you want to do another. I think if more people tried them that more people would want them.
  14. Im talking about finding caches using like fire tacks or bright eyes and make them only findable by using a flashlight. I think it would be a fun twist on the game. We have a few out here in southeast PA.
  15. I think GC.com should make a night cache logo and option for hiding a cache. Night caches are alot of fun.

    Watchlist

Because when I look at one of mine I had like 6 people watching it. I think if you are a cache owner you should be able to see who is viewing your cache. One of my caching friends is a freak.. He watches just about every cache he has ever found.

Any one ever want to know who is watching your cache? I wish we could see who is doing so.
  18. Any one ever hide a cache that requires someone to climb a tree?
