  2. Gpsr is 18 feet accuracy. I dont see a hollow tree here, there has to be a tree.
  3. I would like to get a hotwheels sort of car to do the same sort of thing. but am not having any luck locating such a car to use as a TB. As a truck driver I have seen many of the Dare cars out there. and some of them are pretty sharp looking.

  10. am working on a new cache, and am not sure how it will be classified. this is how it will work. step one will take caches to a sign, of area interest in my town. they will get numbers off of the sign. and write them down. next step will take them to another part of town to get more numbers. once they get the numbers they fill in the coordinates for where the cache is at about 2 miles away at a nice park. is that ok to do as well. and how would it be classified. thanks... PS. the areas where the numbers are gotten are not areas where a micro would be very appropriate. ie city hall building or court house. (those just examples but close to the truth.)
  11. Last time I did that. after 10 minutes of sitting there, I realized I was SITTING on the cache container. oppps but it did work. I found the mojo
  12. This could be the guy n4vdj. It has an email address. will send emails again to this guy and see what happens. but if no luck on emails, does anyone in his area know the guy, I really would like my TB to be moving. it only logged about 49 miles before I placed it into the grave yard.
  13. I have to agree. you find, you signed. it a legit find. would be different. (another thread here somewhere) found cache couldnt reach . but am logging as a find. to me a find is..... find, sign, jump for joy. look for next cache on route. repeat. TruckerGeorge.
  14. Did that a few weeks ago when I went to drop off a tb at a cache. was acting like I was just another truck driver stretching his legs and getting some needed break from behind the wheel. they were determinded to find the cache. and I needed to head down the road. so I just dropped the bug at another cache. ok it was fun playing muggle. gave me a good chuckle for a few miles as well. on how they were trying to not find the cache, but yet locate it. thing was they were way off on where it was located. hehehe TruckerGeorge.
  15. n4vdj retrieved Motel--Hotel (Travel Bug Dog Tag) from Windy Hill Cache #3 TBGKEY placed in tb graveyard. but would like to have it out of there emails sent to n4vdj and no replies
  16. this is the list that I have started. I know it only a small area. but it is in rest areas, or other areas that one can park and 18 wheeler or big rig.... http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...2b-6fd8986fe181
  17. hope this helps out. this is a list that I have come up with for some caches that I have found that are in rest areas, they mainly 18 wheeler or Trucker friendly caches. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...2b-6fd8986fe181 hopefully there will be more lists like this for fellow truckers as well. truckergeorge.
  18. I have created a bookmark list of trucker friendly caches, and stumbled across a list at a cache I had bookmarked by another truckdriver. now how does one go about finding the lists other than going through cache at a time looking at the bookmarked lists? I have searched around and looked and all I can find in my own bookmark list. am I haveing a brain cramp or something? TruckerGeorge.
  19. as an over the road truck driver, I go down the road and say, hey there a neat area for a cache, or in a rest area that has no caches. I walk around during my breaks and say now there a cleaver spot and not a MICRO spot either. ok I hate micros, but to each their own. I wished there were more rest area caches out there for us truckers to actually take small breaks to find. I have a small list started but want to find more. TruckerGeorge
  20. I was at a cache today, this is my second time to it to drop off and pick up tb's and there are 2 listed on the page that are no longer in the cache. they havent been in there for about 2 months from what I could tell from the logs. TruckerGeorge
  21. I have several TB with goals to have pictures taken with them. one is of vintage cars. another that I just releases is to have it's picture taken at casinos, and then hopefully make it to a Televised Texas Hold em trourniment. another one I am working on now, I would like it to visit different Pubs of the USA and World. so as you see, with in reason is the key, I have had some nice pictures taken with several of mine and I really appreciate the photos when I get/see them. TruckerGeorge.
  22. holding onto a TB for a year just to start his own Prison? that not right, I stopped by a cache not long ago and found that the TB's had been there almost 2 months. I grabbed all of them and got them on the way again. I want my TB's to move, but I also dont want them to end up MIA either TruckerGeorge
  23. Have a question, and not sure if it ok what I am doing or not. after I activate my Tb's that I am sending out. I drop and grab from one of my caches. I do this as a starting reference point. and then take the bug with me on the road and then place in a cache where I would like it to start. I am a truck driver ( Long haul ) and my own caches dont get visited that often. ( am not complaining about that either, since the caches are on my own property, out in the middle of no where) is this ok to do? or do other people do the same thing?? TruckerGeorge.
  24. thanks to all those that responded to my question. this will help me out alot. as I am trying to get a list of 18 wheeler accessable caches for the states I visit. I know a slow process. I am dont always have time to stop for every cache, but would love to have it on the drawlayer so if I do have time. I can see in advance and try to find it. the other reason is to help move tb's along that I may find. this way I know in advance where the tb motels or larger caches are. I heard some one else is makeing up a list for truckers as well and would like to help out where I can. TruckerGeorge.
