  1. I WORRY THAT A CACHE OF MINE THAT NEEDED TO BE MAINTAINED IS RUINED BECAUSE OF THE RAIN AND WIND. HOPEFULLY NOT TOO MANY GEOCACHES HAVE NOT BEEN RUINED.
  2. HOPEFULLY NOT A LOT OF GEOCACHES HAVE BEEN RUINED OR DESTROYED. I RECENTLY WAS GOING TO CHECK ON MY OWN CACHE TO FIX IT UP SOME, BUT NOW IT MIGHT BE TOO LATE. HURRICANE BILL HAS STRUCK THE MARITIMES.
  3. Just wondering... how many schools teach geocaching that you know of. The local high school I know does teach geocaching. Just seeing if it's taught at more then a couple schools.
  4. Actually I don't print anything. I just memorize it.
  5. Just putting it out there that it is possible to find geocache's without a Gps. I am only 13 and don't have a Gps, but have 48 finds. I just look at the maps, hints, pictures, and sometimes read logs if I'm stumped. Geocaching without a Gps. Give it a try!
  6. I am 13. I have been geocaching since October 2008 and have had 48 finds... all without a GPS! I don't have a Gps so I just read the hints, pictures, maps, and sometimes the logs. Yes I agree with GreenLantern5000 that youre missing kids under 12 and I agree that because there not the age where they can stay home alone that they are sometimes brought along on the geocaching adventure. I am 13 and I have "recruited" 6 other friends between the ages of 10 and 13. They now have a passion in geocaching. The two 10 year old ones can't bike or anything by themselves so they have just a few finds. One of them is my brother so hes dragged along sometimes when I go out geocaching with the family. On my hand me and four other 13 year olds bike around our town Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. We have found over 30 geocaches here without Gps's. So to conclude.. people who are under 16 and don't have a car license can bike to geocaches and there is a good population of kids who geocache between the ages of 10 and 16. Sorry I took so long
  7. Thanks everybody. I know i should probably know this stuff. Im just a 13 year old who loves geocaching.
  8. Does a puzzle geocache coordinates that you state have to still be 512 meters away from another geocache or does it matter where you put the primary coordinates? Also does the place of the real coordinates too have to be 512 meters away from another geocache. Thanks, jono14
  9. Does anyone have any suggestions on some puzzles. I want to put up a puzzle cache, but I don't have any good ideas of one.
