  2. Got another question, can an older model Garmin 76 with no memory card slot accept those maps.
  3. I used a TomTom one 3rd edition for Geocaching for the first few.It worked but my garmin 60cx is much more suited.I still use my TomTom to get me close if I think new road directions first.Bottom line...a Tom Tom can be used for geocaching.
  4. I dunnit...and it works fine.Thanks.
  5. First of all thanks you there Ibycus, the maps are just great.Gonna make my geocaching go a little easier. I got all of Newfoundland on there now, just about 89mb.It all went on my 256mb card. So how do I know if my GPS needs that update?I have it dnloaded but scared to hook up my GPS.Lol.
  6. So on a Garmin 60cx I could probably do it with a 4 gb card.I've had it for about 6 months.
  7. I don't have a dvd burner so can I install without it? What size card would you need for all of Canada
  8. Hello...I'm pretty new at this.I am dnloading your file Ibycustopo21.zip,a 3.03gb file using uTorrent.I have a Garmin 60cx and I have a couple questions... 1.I read in post a few pages back that when putting this map on my GPS that it automatically goes to the memory card.I have a 256mg card in it that's 3% full. Will I need a bigger card. 2.What areas does this file cover...all of Canada?I'm in Newfoundland...does it have all of Newfoundland. 3.What do I need to do to install this after it's dnloaded. Thanks for any help here.
  9. Yer welcome...don't know nothing about batch load though.
  10. Here's what I do...on Geocaching.com I open the cache and click "send to GPS".That's it.I got quite a few on my 60cx for whenever I am travelling.Loves it.
  11. I have a Garmin 60cx..I got no problem at all.99% of the time I walk right on top of caches. All depends how good the coordinates are byt the one who places the cache.I love the unit.
  12. I got some coordinates here that need to be decoded.....any help here would be appreciated. The true coordinates are actually: North: CC OO.SSS West: TT AA.LLL where CC=60, OO=36, SSS=670 TT=72, AA=20, LLL=174 However, you will have to find the true values of CC,OO,SSS,TT,AA,LLL in order to have the actual co-ordinates of the cache.
