  1. I have upgraded to Apple Watch, any chance of an app for that now?
  2. The website and app are amazing right now, and programming for the Pebble would only take a couple of minutes-an hour. The Pebble (and watches that copy it), are all just coming out, but they're going to be pretty huge...
  3. Well... yes... That would be incredible! But this is a serious question/request lol
  4. I'm looking for a decent Geocaching App that'll connect to the Pebble watch. Apparently it's really easy to do. Hopefully the official Geocaching iOS app includes this ASAP. But ANY app would be better than no app. In case you've been in a cave for 8 months... www.getpebble.com
  5. I'm shocked! That's all I have been using. What went wrong? What app do you use. You need Geopher Lite, it'll do everything you need.
  6. But this one is a one-time cost, not per month. Considering a 2 year contract, it's as little as 1.4%. Oh I know, I don't mind paying for apps, if they are functional and practical. I don't have a beef with the price, my beef is that the app still doesn't really "work", still can't log finds or trackables. I use this app for most of my trip, but as soon as I find one, I have to use that "other app" which is far from user friendly, but is functional. My point was that the iPhone haters think the phone is expensive, when it's not only cheaper, but with the right apps saves you money and time, kinda like a full blown Mac now that I think of it...
  7. I think that the Apple App store lock in where Apple can skim a fee off the hard work of all the programmers who have to pay to access the store to begin with is one reason I'll avoid an Iphone. The app store is nice. That it's the only game in town isn't. Because of the fee, and the skimming it's fair for the iPhone app to cost a fee. 9.99? Likely someone else can write an app (assuming Apple doesn't say it's a duplicate of the 9.99 one) that works with a GPX file and online maps and such and charge less. I'm fine with the price of the App, I hope it works properly soon. I think it's funny that there's still so many people think the phone costs a thousand billion dollars. Like "If they can afford an iPhone, they can afford a $10 App" For ANY decent phone (most DECENT Blackberry's cost much more than the iPhone!) there is a fee, and a mandatory contract, it's just how it goes. If you can afford $30 per month, you can afford an iPhone. So I do see how some people can get upset when an App costs 1/3 of your monthly bill. However, some apps ARE worth it.
  8. I would start by using a secure, safe®, fast(er) browser like Firefox or Safari (kinda clunky on Windows but still more stable than IE). See if that solves the sites problem.
  9. double post I guess there wasn't REALLY a "Fatal Error" after all
  10. I restored my iphone, and it still did not work, I tried over 30 times, with reboots in between, deleted, reinstalled... etc.
  11. I was SOOOOOO mad when I updated and it crashed, this happened before (I forget which version number), it was fixed FAIRLY quickly.... the quick fix was to restore phone lol I did that this time, and it still crashes. It's always at the "Allow Location" if that helps the Devs any...
  12. I am in the same boat. Nothing I do will get it to work. It crashes right after asking if it can use the location services. I was already disappointed with this application and what you get for what it costs. This just exasperates the situation. I have to see if I can locate the previous version so I can go back to that. I just hope I made a backup since purchasing the application. --Chris Me too, instant crash (It took 10 tries just to download it too!) I was excited, I NEED this for Saturday! I thought Apple tested these apps? I just ran "Fix Dir Permissions" and still nothing.
  13. I have to second this (or third or fourth etc, I didn't read the last pages...) But I have to use the "Other" app until I get login, logs, filter finds, and METRIC!
