  1. Many congratulatiosn to Habu!! Also Congratulations to Flagman and Lulu! Congratulations to Balcanthaz too. Love reading the logs, I am enjoying 'armchair caching' at it's finest!! Jane
  2. "Pennies from Heaven" I'm very sorry I wont be able to attend. Looks like it's going to be a fun event! Jane
  3. I'm sorry Yeshua's Girls archived their caches. I'll miss the Tranquility ones especially. It seems unfair to me as there are loads of bird watching related caches everywhere. I could name a few but I don't want reviewers to ban them too. Just put 'bird watch' in the keyword search... Hope things work out for the YG. Jane
  4. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm enjoying being one of the Thirsty Ladies, in the Tuesday or Thursday crew!! Jane
  5. Good Luck!! I love listening to radio progs. about geocaching. I've listened to Paul's and to the more recent one in Wales! Both very well done and showed the game in a good light. Jane

  12. I was going to mention the Rife circular walk that I had found for my next visit home. I would like to ask that people who set up these wonderful circular walks should make public bookmark list available on their cache page so it would be a quick thing to download a ready made list instead of having to make my own! Jane
  13. Mocha, you are the sweetest thing!! All ready in the numbers with your joint FTF! Well done! Look forward to meeting you, hopefully, at the RT event!!
  14. Saw this while finding Famosa #2 Drive Up. GC1BFXD. Our first snake of the year. Jane
  15. I don't know how to post a link, but I saw a photo of some children sitting on the edge of what looked like a steep drop and found that they were the children of Pollys Lot whose geocaches I had done in England while on vacation there.
  16. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! Just a note to let folks know that Christmas Card Lane Cache is ready for finding. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...59-386ec1a7d932 Thanks to D-Jollymon for reminding Santa Cache to put his cache out for it's 6th year!! ttfn Jane

  18. Hope you get the coin in time for the Ocotillo Event. I'd love to 'discover'it!! ttfn jane
  19. I saw the BBC article and thought of this cache near Ipstones While on holiday on a narrowboat on the Caldon Canal We took a walk to search for this but sadly DNF this cache GCKPV1 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...2e-bc555b62ba5b It's been archived atm. ttfn jane
  20. It's so nice to hear all of your memories of Yrium and to read some of his logs again. The only time I ever ventured out to find a cache alone was to seek out one found by Yrium's, because he had put in 5 cards featuring me in it and I knew I could not wait. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...=y&decrypt= I love the serendipity of geocaching such as FM experienced. It's almost as much as finding a cache to read a log like that or have a TB you've found picked up by a friend you've never met, but who's name you know well, placed in a cache on your watchlist. BTW I have a little Red Jeep burning a hole in my caching kit too...where shall I put it? ttfn jane
  21. We heard it too. Glad to know what it was. We thought it was an earthquake at the time! I'm in Rancho Penasquitos. ttfn jane
  22. Funny thing is we had an earthquake here in San Diego, Saturday morning at about 8:00am. Only a 3.5 but quite a jolt. Coming over to visit next month and there I was thinking that the only thing we don't have to worry about was Earthquakes! ttfn Jane
