  1. The coins I was waiting for arrive in the mail this weekend! So I said goodbye to Sabrina this morning and she's off to her next destination She's got a long way ahead of her, so I hope she'll make it safely again. I took her caching on a 'witch-related' cache during her stay here. During this cache and also while caching in the North of the Netherlands, she met several Dutch witches!
  2. Absolutely love the desing of the project G.A.M.E. coin!!! And cool video of the coin and the game too

  5. Wow, Nice coins Millieballon and Jetske !!! And the mug with the turtle on it looks great, very special
  6. When I was caching in Australia, I found some nice coins in caches: A TB with a Hungarian coin attached to it. It looks like it's handmade, very cool! A triple dragon coin. Found this coin in Karijini National Park, Western Australia and took it with me to put in a cache in the Netherlands A 'come together' coin (hmmm forgot to take a close up photo of the coin, sorry....) And found this cape god geocoin in a cache in the Netherlands last week And dropped some of my own coins in caches in Australia to let them travel:
  7. Wow that's a lot of very nice coins in the mailbox Scavok!! I received a few nice suprises in the mail this week: the Shadow's friens - No snow coin from the cointest A visit from Sabrina the witch with some wonderful gifts :-) And two purchases: a copper and a sandblast gold version of the Norwegian geocoin 2008. Great design and very thick and heavy coins!
  8. When I got home sunday evening and opened my door to let Sabrina the Witch in my house, I also saw a cute rabbit with long ears hopping over the doorstep I love the coin, it looks beautiful Thanks for the fun cointest!
  9. And Sabrina has landed again!!!!!!!! In the Hague, the Netherlands When I got home yesterday evening, she was waiting on the doorstep and very tired after a long, long journey. After a good night sleep and some food, she's feeling fine now and she's brewing some mysterious potions in our spare room as I write this. Her broomstick needed some maintenence as well, but is now standing next to the door, all polished and shniy again and ready for the next big trip. Sabrina had a heavy suitcase with a lot of cool stuff with her! A nice tulip card and a card with a map of Maine. A book with beautiful pictures of Maine. The landscape looks fantastic and altough we're not planning a faraway holiday soon (we just got back from Australia), I really hope to visit Maine once! A funny frog with a cute gnome on his back. And three coins that I like a lot: a very cute Eclectic Penguin (I love the copper metal on this coin!), a litlle geocoin nerd (I like coins that will fit in micro caches, it makes finding micro caches so much more fun) and an Opalsns cachin' crow 2008 geocoin That one has been on my seeking list for a while, because I think the design is great. And now that I see the coin in person it looks even better! Maine family, thanks for this wonderfull mission!!! I've selected the next destination of Sabrina and have got some coins on the way to the Netherlands. As soon as I receive them Sabrina will fly again. And may be she will have time to go camping and caching with us in the North of the Netherlands this weekend
  10. Yes I thought about that as well. I'm looking at caches that have been around for awhile with no history of being muggled or problems. Its really no different than someone going to an event taking a bunch of coins and losing them or whatever, it has happened. My main concern is unfortunately the state of Georgia(where I live) has a bad trackable history. In previous races coins in mid to south GA have vanished so my thought process was to get them out of the area. There are a few other problem areas I know about and I'm steering clear of them as well. I'm doing my homework to offer the best and safest caches to start the race. It's not 100% just as events aren't either. That's a good idea, selecting suitable starting caches by history! And once the race has started and the coins spread, there's nothing we can do except hope that not too many go missing. I'd love to participate in the race, it will be the first race I take part in I'll send a few coins togethers with Millieballons coin soon. Li-Z
  11. I love this design! E-mail sent
  12. Wow, that's a long receipt! Congrats StgMikal!!
  13. Last guess before I go to wor: 3,5 inch?
  14. Thanks for the cointest!! :-) Can't wait to get the ordered tengwars My guess: 4 inch
  15. Just one qeustion though: wouldn't it be a bit of a risk to put all the racing coins in just a few caches? What if one gets muggled, or someone that knows about the race and the caches full of coins has ill intentions?
  16. I'd like to participate
  17. Wow!!! That's great This news really made my day! Nowsnow and Shadow, thank you very much for the cointest and for making such a cute coin. And look at Shadow in the hat, he looks so sweet He did a good job. I used to have a rabbit named Skippy as a kid. She loved treats as well. When I was a bit older I had three pet rats and the yoghurt drops where their favourite too. So thanks too them I guessed right :-) Wish I had a picture of them I could post, but I didn't have a digital camera back then.... All the coins look amazing, but as I am a fan of round coins, I like the bronze round coin best!
  18. My favourite drink is the Earl Grey tea from Twinings. I would never want to miss a nice pot of tea.... in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening :-) If I had to choose a bottled drink it would be Coca Cola light (that's the dutch name, probably called Diet Coke in US?)
  19. What a cute rabbit! I love the ears My guesses: - Yoghurt drops (my rabbit used to love those...) - Potato chips (not very healthy, but nice and crispy ;-) - Cruesli/Muesli bars
