Can't get the "Our Finds" PQ to send

My brothers and I are hiding a cache about the Petoskey Stone (A type of fossil any found on Lake Michigan). earthcache.org sagest fossils as cache subject. So my question is how do you have the finders give you some measurement, makeup... when the fossil is only found as a rock. Noah

I did check for alarms, there were none. We will see what happens when it gets reset.

In the past month I noticed that my Vx's battery was dead a lot. I would let it charge for three hours and it would only last for about two days. Last night while I was sitting in by bed (lights turned off) I noticed a beam of light coming off my shelves at the other side of my room. Curious of what it might be I decided to stay up for awhile. Seven minutes later the light came on and right back off. I got up and started looking around and my Palm Pilot Vx was the only electronic thing near there. This time I held the Vx and sure enuf seven minutes later the back light turned on. It stayed lit up for one-two seconds before going back off. So why is the back light coming on and how do I fix this problem. I hope that there is someone brainier than I that can give me some good advise. Thanks Noah 1 of cachensfun

I would just not try to get that one. The way I see it is that's only one cache you wont get a smiley for. But you still got to have fun hunting for it.

There is a white box on the right side of your screen. Click on it and select recalculate miles. This should make them show.

They have stopped making ammo cans. Fiberglass is cheaper so you might see the price of metal cans go up. That may take awhile because there are millions of them out there.

The HCx gets better signal. 60Cx has more gadgets.

I think if you hold down the D-pad it comes up with the mark waypoint page. What do you need a new GPS for. We have found all 360+ with are Etrex.
