  1. Hi, A year ago we attempted a complicated Lord of The Rings multi cache @ Presque Isle State Park in Erie,Pa due to mosquito's and ticks we had to abandon it for the year and now we can't find the listing on Geocaching.com to attempt to start our search over again. Does anyone know what happened to it? Thanks in advance EC

  3. I've been exposed to poison Ivy more often than not in my many years of extreme camping and now geocaching plus I also worked as an assistant to the EIT at Codorus State Park for many summers. Believe it or not that was the most FAQ! This is what he woud tell everyone if you have (or think you have) been exposed to PI you want to shower in tepid water ASAP and use a non moisturizing bar soap such as dial this will help cut the plant oils. If you already have the rash, Rhuli gel (now known as J&J anti itch gel) works wonders! Calamine Lotion is not effectice and to quote him "all it does is make your skin pink". Oatmeal baths and warm salt water compresses also help. Be sure to also take a benadryl everyday although benadryl never helped me,others swear by it. Good luck!
