HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR WIENERDOG ON MARCH 5TH!
-
Tried that. I can not post it as an event in and of itself. it would have to be an event outside of the HUGS Fair. So say the powers to be.

Hi all, I will be at the Henkle Middle School, in White Salmon, WA, March 6, 2004. There is a kids fair happening that day known as the H. U. G. S. Fair, (Help Us Grow Safely). Geogirl 2288 and I will have a booth at this event to show kids and adults what geocaching is all about. We would like to invite everyone to stop by and say hi, and maybe help us talk to these kids. The fair is free. the hours are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The coordinates are N 45 44.397, W 121 29.840.

George501949,
That iPAQ (3970?) looks like the preverbal turd in the punch bowl. Time for an upgrade.
Looking at a 5555. can you tell I used to watch Tim the Toolman.

How do you change your CD!
I have a mini Disk deck with a cd changer and xm radio

That was my choice before the 60c came out.

Now I'm ready to go caching.

The 60c goes nice with the rest of this stuff.

I found http://maps.nationalgeographic.com/topo/search.cfm topo maps from National Geographic that you purchase by the state. They're 1:24000 - which should have more detail than the Garmin TopoUS at 1:100,00. The page I found describing them says they can be downloaded into a GPS.

thanks
From what I see here is that you can only send routes and waypoints from this software to your gps, not maps.

Count me in CT. Do you know how much the booth fee is?

Come Rain, Come Shine, Come Hail or High-Water
Still trying to see if I can get over for this event, sounds like fun to me.

George, you'll just have to be willing to climb a mountain (or wherever I've hidden one)!
(Actually, I think putting up with me in your car during the entire Victoria Cache Machine probably entitles you to one!
)
Putting up with you, it was more like keeping up with you. LOL

Our local paper called and interviewed my wife and me about the geobirthday she threw me. If you are interested you can read the article Gig Harbor Geocaching Widow sets up treasure hunt
I just want to know if your wife has any sisters, LOL. How cool.
-
No begging here, how much for one of those coins? LOL
-
Or just walk in looking at your GPS, someone will talk to you. I'm going to try and make this meeting also, so hope to see you there.
