  1. If bad weather, mainly cold, snow or whatever makes you uncomfortable, is always a very good reason to wear clothes. At over 14,000 feet I had found a cache on Mt Evans, CO while being naked. The wind was pretty bad and the few snow flurries made the find interesting. Sometimes the thrill of the hunt over powers. We got an early start to naked caching this year with temps in the 70's and a new cache being published in a very remote location in the swamps. Going on a weekday and not seeing any other vehicles at the parking area gives you a pretty good idea no one is out there. We had a very enjoyable naked day bicycle riding and then ditching our bikes to get to GZ. We are working on ? caches in remote locations with the hopes of more au natural freedom time and see no problems that we won't be able to find them while naked. We have cached au natural in these areas previously with no problems. Naked caching is not not everyone but we enjoy it very much and will continue to do it when the opportunities allow.
  2. Highlights of our 4 month geocaching trip in 2020 all while naked Finding our 11K cache Finding an arch to explore Finding a spire to enjoy Doing part of a power run, we knew we would never finish it Finding a FTF Finding a FTF that was 2 years old Finding a cache at a cabin built under a huge rock Exploring redwoods and a stream and many more nude adventures
  3. Why not? Nudity is a very big part of the way we live and enjoy life. Being naked in nature and feeling the sun and wind on our bodies is very enjoyable. Just the freedom from clothes is nice. Bugs, yep we get bit and pick ticks off when clothed or naked. Going nude has always been a part of life and we will continue to do so. Our nude caching adventures are out on Jeep trails, forest trails away from others. We enjoy nude beaches, nude resorts and anytime we can be naked no matter where it is. We have never had a bad encounter with clothed people who might find us in those out of the way places. Can you say you have had an arch to explore my yourself and be naked exploring it? Ever find a private like inviting you for a swim but declined because of no bathing suit? Hiking a trail and just wanting to be one in nature and feel the elements? For us it is just fun to explore while nude because that is our way of life. Try it you might like it. We are lucky to be able to go to those remote locations to find our clothes free time. Geocaching and CO's do a very good job at hiding and showing caches in remote locations for us to enjoy.
  4. We have found our 11K cache and as usual for the thousandth we found it while enjoying a pleasant walk in the desert to GZ a bit of a search and found. The 2nd ones to find it. Some photos and on ward. We can't post our naked geocaching pics here but we do have a flickr group for that.
  5. Another milestone hit! 11,000th find We always search out our thousandth find naked no matter where we might be in the world. This time we were Utah and saw a cache that only had one find so far. So off we went to locate this cache. Down a couple of dirt roads and got close to GZ. Parked our Jeep and proceed to search au natural for the container. Success! Another fun find and happy to be able to enjoy being our naked in nature and caching. Can't post any pics here but we do have a naked geocaching group on flickr
  6. We tan easily so sunscreen isn't usually needed. We could not imagine wearing extra clothes to enjoy the outdoors. Thanks mandymk86 for your positive comment. Yes, we get our share of cuts and scratches even if we aren't naked on our legs but seldom above knee high so caching naked isn't a problem.
  7. We use a stamp and usually have a small backpack for longer hikes. We also have a geocaching naked group on flickr. It is a closed group only open to those who have cached naked and photos to prove it.
  8. Wow, 2019 was an incredible year for us and geocaching. Another several month trip from FLA to Idaho and all in between. So many places to go to, things to see and of course caching and naked caching were a big part of our adventures. We found our 10,000th cache while bare in bear country in Montana. Our dash cam recorded our naked adventure to find the cache. We find being out in nature naturally is always a highlight of our trips. Oh yea, the alien head geo art in Roswell, NM out on BLM land was a another au natural adventure. Just us and the jack rabbits. 2020 is here and we are planning our trip. We have already cached naked in north FLA doing more geo art and look forward to finishing it on another trip.
  9. We attended the 4th annual Owasso Shalom clothing optional geocaching event a few weeks ago. It was perfect weather and even though we had found the cache several years ago we enjoyed a au natural walk to it again for a couple of photos.
  10. Well it is 2019 already and almost April. Our caching time has slowed down just a bit with too many other things to do after getting home from a 4.5 month road/caching trip. Luckily two new caches came out a bit back that offered us the au natural time we needed in nature. Looking to another long road trip in June for several months. The more remote the better. Will try to finally get the naked cache in N FLA.
  11. Yes they do. We found using a basic hair comb works well to remove them.
  12. Just found my 9,000th cache on a wonderful breezy day for a great au natural hike from the Jeep. It is a custom to find every 1,000th find naked and many in between too. Being out west has not been disappointing to great caches in remote locations for time to enjoy nature naturally.
  13. Only got stabbed once in the chest by a large cactus. Getting stuck in the legs and feet do not count. Just the other day I got one stuck into the side of my little toe right thru the shoe.
  14. So only a week and a half into our extended caching adventures we have have had perfect weather for some au natural caching including GC19. The location for GC19 is so nice why wouldn't you enjoy nature naturally? A nice breeze was appreciated as the temps pushed 90 and very low humidity. We look forward to many more au natural finds. Of course we took many photos but can't post them here:((
  15. We have just started a new caching adventure that should last several months covering a lot of the West below the snow line. We have a few of the oldies picked and ready to head out to find them. Once again naked caching is on the agenda as much as possible. Send us an email if you know of locations and caches that would fit our caching style. Always interested in meeting other cachers who have a similar interest. Thanks
  16. Wow, never knew about this cache and we were just in OK a few months ago. Placed it on the watch list for future travels. To bad it has been archived,.
  17. Not really, it is much lower than the highway and almost no one exiting or getting on from the cross street. There is very little traffic, the whole time we were there no cars passed by and the cache is to low to be seen from the highway.
  18. We had thought Mingo was in a fairly desolate area for naked caching, but after finding Tarryall, it was even better. A simple .10 stroll to GZ au natural topped off another old cache found. You can see a great distance in all directions and we had no problems. Now we are looking forward to our next trip out west for even more au natural caching. The trip starts in two weeks. Others who cache naked send us an email.
  19. Oh, we have several photos of us enjoying the fun of caching naked posted. Just saying in the USA we can't post them on the geocaching site. There are other sites that allow them.
  20. Sorry to see this is a rather dead group. We still cache naked whenever possible and have a great time. Our recent big find was Mingo and we were fortunate to be able to walk to the cache naked and sign the log. It is the perfect location for a few minutes of being naked in nature. Unfortunately geocaching policy will not allow us to post any pics. Kansas has so many places we were able to cache naked it was fantastic. 95+ degrees and a 20+MPH winds sure felt good on our bodies.
  21. We are in FLA and survive. Sure sometimes it isn't the best but many months it is quite enjoyable. It is all in what one enjoys. Skiers might not enjoy the cold but enjoy skiing.
  22. Well, a bare didn't meet a bear in Alaska on our trip. We found over 180 caches in AK and did some au natural:D as well. We had 8 days to enjoy the mountains and photography all over the state. Each day we either cached naked or did some nude photos to remember our trip. Just one cache was a problem with mosquitoes and we did find it quickly. Geocaching took us to the best locations for scenery and small town history. We are so happy we finally did the trip and would recommend it to every cacher out there. Yep, we saw bears, caribou, porcupines, moose, whales, seals, reindeer, eagles, and many more animals. Even ate raw salmon heart as they were being fillet. The weather was wonderful, 83 in Anchorage when we arrived and we wore shorts and t shirts for the two weeks. The 20+ hours of daylight was perfect for those late night finds. Yes, a few of the walks in the woods did have us on edge with the threat of a bear encounter. The best we saw was a mother moose and her baby swimming in a river along the road. Mom would stop and dive down and come up with a mouthful of greens from the bottom while the baby was trying to find a way out of the river. It must have been some pretty cold water but it didn't seem to bother the moose. We even had clear skies to see Denali. So in total, 1800 miles around the state and a week cruise to top it off. Then a day to cache in Vancouver before heading home.
  23. Just found my 7,000th cache and as with every 1,000th find, I find the cache naked from start to finish. We also do a lot of nude caching in between also. This find was fun from start to finish and the weather was perfect, partly sunny and warm. A nice hike to the cache, an easy find. Took the usual find or location photos but can't post them here. Then as we looked around we saw an easier way to go back, isn't that the case at times. Thth gave us more nude hiking time and made the find even more memorable. GC21AAD
