  1. Not that I'm aware of or bothered about.
  2. You must have a lot of fingers. There were 43 UK caches on the day you signed up. Well, I did say almost! How did you find that out? I'm pretty sure that when I looked when first interested there were fewer than that but it was eight years ago. Maybe I'm muddling it with the registered cachers as I do know one list showed only about ten people registered before me.
  3. I still have a couple to do then. To think, when I started I could almost count them on my fingers!
  4. The first cache I found was Aug 01 [Angel's View] - at the time there were only a tiny handful of caches in the UK, may only have been a couple of dozen. It was placed there in April by Moss Trooper. From what I remember, the first cache in the UK was placed in Feb 01.

I think i'm going to be the last of the 2001 starters to reach the hallowed 100 . everyone else who started back then has already got it . :-( oh well only 6 to go . Tip of the day : Always be nice to your mother and don't eat yellow snow :-) You most certainly will not be the last!
  7. Downloaded ok here without any need to change filename.
  8. quote:Originally posted by jeremyp:I've fixed a couple of fairly important bugs and tweaked the formatting of some elements. Details of what I did are in http://jeremyp.net/trigpoint/release0-4.php. A question: Each trigpoint has a metal plate on the side with a number on it. Can anybody explain the significance of these numbers? Are they just a unique serial number or do they represent the position in some way? Can anybody point me towards a database of the said numbers? This is all preliminary to me adding them to the database. I'd like to know what I am doing ------- jeremyp The second ten million caches were the worst too. http://www.jeremyp.net/geocaching The numbers were recorded in order as the pillars were built - so they don't neccesarily follow on in an area. There are a couple of lists which actually have a some of the Flush Bracket numbers but there is no exhaustive list - yet.
