I find the case you are making to be quite silly indeed. Is it really a problem that a couple of stones have been shifted in a stone wall out in the middle of the woods that no human being would ever notice? This is hardly a cause for concern and hardly worthy of even a passing thought. Hobbyists (in any hobby) tend to create superfluous, self-defeating "rules and regulations" when they are too deepy entrenched. This is clearly one of them.

I really couldn't care less how much gas costs in the United States. We should all be paying $4/gallon anyway. As a society we spend WWWWAAAAAYYYY too much time worrying about the price of gas. Clip a few coupons each time to you go grocery shopping and you'll more than cover the cost of rising gas prices. Buy and install some fluoresent blubs and you'll cover the cost of your gas with bulb replacement and electricity savings. It's really not a big deal.

You guys are all too serious. I geocache for my own enjoyment. I think it's fun to pick up TBs and move them along. I never, ever pass on a TB. Relax. I would find it MUCH more annoying if people passed on my bugs because of some sort of self-inflicted ettiquette that may or may not be shared by the rest of the community. Stop with the rules already and just have fun.
