  1. I was gonna vote for myself and I HAD to read the dang rules
  2. There is a cache in Herb Parsons Park near Memphis(sorry cant remember the waypoint or name just now!) It was a Salvo cache I spent an hour looking for and had to give up. Later on during a "caching assault" with a group it was found(in a stump I had used for a rest stop:)
  3. Palm Tungsten T5 kinda pricey but mine is waterproof I know cause it took a dip in the creek at the Village Creek Event and it STILL works

  7. There is a small black squirrel I keep seeing near a cache I hid here in Houston. I stop and watch for him often. Most of our squirrels here are grey or red, black is very rare. Did spot 2 deer? on Bute last April!
  8. Got lucky here on my side of the "pond", free WiFi hotspot on my front porch McDonalds here offer WiFi and supposed to be a small charge for it but after the first time I havent been charged again

  10. I was in London last January for a bit over 2 weeks and didnt really have much trouble with GPS reception Of course half way through my stay there my trusty Garmin decided to "die" on me and I was "forced" to buy another

  18. Be careful and dont get the thing wet! I got real lucky when I turned the canoe over and dumped my Garmin, compass and everything else in Village Creek near Beaumont,Texas.Fortunately my Tungsten T5 dried out after a few days and works fine now
  19. Heard about the attacks when I checked email just a few minutes ago. Was in London in January. My thoughts and prayers to all the people in London.
