  1. I am not sure if the Oregon 400t is the same but to delete waypoints in the Colorado 400t WAYPOINT MANAGER > OPTIONS > DELETE WAYPOINTS hope this is of some help to you
  2. It is not necessary to select go to location. Just highlight the geocache that you want to find and press the button in the middle of the roller. (do not use the options button but rather just press the ENTERbutton in the middle of the roller wheel) The screen should show the cache information. Are you selecting the cache by pressing the button in the middle of the roller or are you using the Options soft key on the upper left of the screen?
  3. You can see the Found caches on the gps by: Geocaches > Options > Show Found
  4. Tequila is right, that is what I was thinking. It would be interesting to see which gps makes or models were the more successful in geocaching. Then there is the problem with keeping up with the new models just as you mentioned.
  5. If you turn on your rear defroster and wait for it to defrost or de-ice the window and then touch it, you will see that it doesn't get hot at all but just warm.
  6. I haven't heard anyone mention setting the "battery type setting" fpr the right type of battery (NiMH, Alkaline, Lithium) Would this make a difference or not? I was using brand new lithium batteries and while playing around with the menu's I noticed that I had the setting on "alkaline" so I changed it to "lithium" although I wonder if it matters.
  7. It may be interesting to add a drop down box to indicate which gps the geocacher used to find the cache.
  8. You are a dork! lol. jk. Trying to choose which unit to buy can be frustrating, eh?
  9. After doing all of my research prior to purchasing a new GPS, now I hear about the PN-40... Argh! I had resolved myself to getting the Colorado and now I have another factor in the equation. Robbie701, I am not trying to hijack your thread, I am just feeling your pain as someone who is looking for the "right" GPS.
  10. I don't see where Red90 was rude at all! He even states that he isn't trying to sound rude. I think he answered the question and even helped me with my decision.
