  1. Now what about when you find items of underwear left behind in the woods, surely the owner might have noticed then falling off!!!
  2. Two of my children have an account, one is 13 the other 5, and the five year old has even hidden a couple of caches
  3. And at risk of upsetting MOOTE ..................Congratulations from me too.
  4. At least one of my children, in case the cache is hidden in a Holly/Gorse bush.
  5. Try this one, Padworth's Cash Cache 2 by padworth. Although nothing to sugest Nelson in the title, it sits right beside Nelsons Column (the other one) and is a nice easy find in a lovely scenic location.
  6. How about my cache 'not as it seems'. It really is a bit devilish and from the logs you will see fairly difficult. Also I would be honoured if caching royalty such as yourself considered my cache worthy. A bit more than 50 miles, but hey it is a bit more than 50 from me to you but I did one of yours !!!!!!
  7. I am getting the downloads, but they are coming through as corrupted files and will not unzip. Anyone else having this issue??
  8. Never liked mud much, always prefered slade.........whatever floats your boat I guess!
  9. I have never yet found a cache that I couldnt get a pushchair too. I have been to a few that you shouldnt take a pushchair too..........but not one I couldnt.
  10. some people just lack a sense of humour................You waste your time :-)
  11. Another large Thankyou from me, as had been said before, without people like you we would lack the enjoyment geocaching provides, and you do it all for nowt!!!
  12. Which cache is that, as I think I may have done it??
  13. Horses for courses, just as it is up to the placer to place, it is up to the finder to choose which caches to look for. I quite like looking for micro's even in the woods, as they can be much more craftily hidden. I feel it is a shame to critisise after you have found the cache, far better to read the description and then not bother visiting if micro's dont float your boat.
  14. I did this about a year ago, and managed to stitch together most of hampshire berkshire and some of dorset. Took me ages and then I got hold of MM 2004 cheap so got rid of it all.
  15. I also think the rating system employed by moote is rather pointless. I think at times moote likes to court controversy for the sake of it so I dont take much of what he says very seriously. As for ratings, another good way is when someone finds a cache they think is really special they say so in the forums. SP recently spoke of a cache in such a way and it is now on my to-do list for the very near future in spite of being 100 miles or so from my home. The owner of the cache always receives a copy of the log, and when it is very complimentary as some of mine on a particular cache have been it really cheers you up, and is ample reward for placing the cache in the first place. Indeed when someone travels a100 miles to do a cache of yours, that makes it even more worth while. To find another 5 from someone who gives 5 to every cache he does quickly becomes meaningless.
  16. Paul How do you make your willy glow like that???
  17. Mine came from a spider that I used to play with as a kid. Called Dysdera crocata, and it is real nasty and eats woodlice!!!!!
  18. I have done this one 3 times now, and only managed to get up Ditchling (cycling) once. I would go along with what SP says, save a bit for ditchling. Good Luck and maybe I will do it again one day!!!!
  19. deleted as I have now read to the bottom of the thread DOH
  20. I am not following this. Who or what is nirvana? Definition of Nirvana: In Buddhism, it is basically a blissful spiritual condition where the heart extinguishes passion, hatred and delusion. It is the highest spiritual plane one person can attain. In other words, being the one to find a Mc dehack micro
  21. garmin gpsmap60cs, because by the time you get hooked and trade your way up you will like me have lost enough money to have had one of them for free. Seriously, I would recommend at least basic mapping, and at about £136 an etrex legend would be an excellent buy. I have just bought my 12 year old one as a birthday pressie and it rocks. It was my second GPS too and to be honest my current 60CS is not THAT much better.
  22. On the idea of children not thinking meat comes from tesco's (asda in our case) we were telling peter gently about where chicken nuggets come from, hoping it wouldn't affect his feelings about them ( well perhaps it might which would also be good!!) . Anyway he thought about it for a while then said ' so who pulls the heads off the chickens then' from the mouths of babes eh.
  23. Well done Peter One day I may even have a third of your total, that would be great!!!!! Thanks for all the work you do for us.
  24. erin court falls in South Wales is near a waterfall, and quite an attractive one too.
