  1. it pretty clear in the description the this maybe considered a 4 difficulty cache. You also have a log earlier on the cache where the person did pretty much the same thing, yet did not log it as a find. With the amount of people that did find it and that other non-find. I would consider it a no find in fairness to everyone. The cacher does have a point about reading logs, I normally don't unless it is a 3 or above just to see what dangers that may arise.

  6. The format should look like N xx xx.xxx W yyy yy.yyy. It would help to know the actual coordinates you are trying to post
  7. My year anniversary is here. In that year I have met many wonderful people, went through 3 GPS units, owned a Toyota, Chevy, Subaru, and another Chevy, been in three car accident(1 major), again met many wonderful people, had a daughter(Kimberly), racked my brain and my body, yet again met many wonderful people. Caching started for me as a way to exercise and lose weight. Our first cache was at Powell Butte(Das Butte) and thankfully we found it pretty easily. Laura did not really get hooked until we did Rose City and she was the one to find the cache. I would like to thank everyone for all the beautiful places we have gone and for the great caches. I have enjoyed every cache and Laura and myself have done 99% of them together. This group is full of special people. Plans for the next year include a new line of caches along this new trail http://www.ci.gresham.or.us/departments/des/parksandrec/GF_masterplan/toc1.htm, to buy another vehicle CBR954RR so I can travel easier, to get to the westside more and complete some of those caches. Again thanks to everyone and looking forward to another year.

  17. I like the idea of buying an etrex basic(yellow). You can also post in your regional area. For the most part geocachers are good people and I'm sure one can take you out for a trip
  18. I have come across caches that are 200-300 feet off. In those cases I will e-mail the owner and put a note stating I was off. It is unfair for people to go find a cache and not have a clue the coordinates may be wrong.
